1 ★I'm a long time styleseat user, the app was great when I first started using it. When they started charging a monthly fee($35), I understood and the app really was worth it so I stayed. However I notice now that it takes a while for appointments to populate in the app causing me to double but time slots. There is a very bad delay with notifications of bookings. Now my clients are upset for being charged to book with me. I will not continue using this service.
1 ★You get notifications for every stylist you've ever visited / favorited; God forbid that you don't want to visit a certain stylist again, because you will receive a notification about an opening for them regardless. UPDATE: Talked to customer service, they can't do anything about it. Favorite cautiously, or block text messages from here on out.
1 ★Terrible! Attempted to cancel an appointment after text sent 72 hours.Went to app, not showing appointment. Contacted my stylist who cannot access account either. Then tried to remove my credit card, it isn't showing which is an issue for me. Then it just charged me for a service that "didn't" show on screen. This is a horrible app and has been circling for 2 days even after I uninstalled and re-installed. Don't Subject your clients to this app. Too much work to get your hair done. Aauuuggghhh!
1 ★If you're looking for salon booking services, look elsewhere. My wife has been using this app since 2014 when it was free. They then started charging $35 a month to utilize the service. I get it. You gotta charge something for cloud/web storage, server costs, employees, etc. Now they're charging CLIENTS a $1 online booking fee and a $10 early access fee to move appointments up and said nothing about the charges to the stylists. My advice, do not use this service. Schedulista is great. Less $
2 ★Very slow and glitchy. I can barely check my schedule without it taking forever to move screen to screen. Very annoying! They started charging my clients through their auto payment system without my permission. Won't be using styleseat for long. Although appreciate the exposure but its bot worth the issues I've been experiencing for the last year or so.

I generally had a smooth sailing experience. however, I did recently have an issue collecting a credit card payment. the guys behind the scenes, Matt & Patrick, helped me collect. if I could suggest a 'best practice' I'd suggest y'all find a way to create a function for the beauty professional to run payment, real time, so that payment can be processed while client in the professionals vicinity. not an hr after services are rendered. otherwise, awesome platform!
1 ★App would be more useful if it would work all the time. Everytime I try to book an appointment, it keeps on saying my stylist is booked for the whole month and no matter how many times you bring it to the next month, it will still say they're fully booked. Not useful when you have to do last minute rescheduling and you can't message your stylist so you're relying on the app.
1 ★The search portion of this app is poor. It seems to have some type of bug. It worked fine the first day i downloaded it two days ago, but now the styleseat loading logo continues to flip back and forth and doesn't provide any results. I've forced closed the app and have looked for the latest update. I'm preparing to restart my phone. If this doesnt work i'm definitely deleting this app.
1 ★Clear Money Grab From Loyal Customers!!! USERS BEWARE!! Developer says the extra charges are for the users, DON'T BE FOOLED PEOPLE!! This is an application your Hair Stylist/Barber pays a monthly fee to offer to their clients. Now everyone who uses it has to pay a fee every time they schedule an appointment, previously this was free. I will just call in and schedule my appointments, I'm not paying a fee to this application for something a 30 second call can solve and you shouldn't either!!
1 ★I used the app twice. The first time everything went smoothly. The 2nd time I booked a different service. The stylist was not able to keep the appointment. So I started a ticket saying hey don't charge my card because this chic said she had a family emergency. They then charged me for the appointment anyway. Sent me some BS email basically saying we can't give you your money the stylist has to refund you. But they're the ones who charged the card to begin with! Total scam.
1 ★This application is not worth the extra money I pay monthly. I am currently having an issue with the app closing in the middle of a transaction and have lost opportunities to reschedule clients. In addition, If you have an issue, there isn't a phone number to call. I've been using this app for a few years and will have to cancel my subscription if it doesn't get resolved. SO FRUSTRATED! UPDATE 2/16/2021 APPLICATION CONTINUES TO CRASH, NO RESPONSE FROM DEVELOPERS WHEN I REQUESTED CANCELLATION.
2 ★Ive been using this app for 4 years now. And now i have to disable it from my business. i would have continued if the company didn't charge the clients the booking fee. I even talk to a rep and they said it can't be undone. Great app with reports and cool features for a pro. Crappy if you're gonna charge clients for doing the pros job easier. At the end I have to think of my clients. maybe next time ask the real pros feedbacks. Like the ones who use the app instead of some fake algorithm.
