1 ★Wanted a one stop shop. Booksy offers everything I was looking for but it all falls short in execution. Customer service ppl nice but not helpful. Cant purchase gift certificates even when payments enabled. Choice of cancel OR no show, need both. To charge card on file they must have the ap bc pings for approval (almost cool but not). Memberships for "unlimited services" instead of just monthly. CC reader fails to connect 1/4. By name searchs yeild unrelated paid results... & Etc ...frustrated
3 ★The app is a great gesture. The app has been saying my clients are new. Which Booksy has been charging me. I always get the response from Booksy to just go online to fix the issue. When I feel like customer service should fix this issue. Everyday I'm being charge for clients that have been coming back to me. I'm highly disappointed about ready to find another booking app if this isn't resolved.
3 ★I switched over to Booksy with hopes to make the booking process easier for my clients. I didn't realize I would be charged so much to use the app PLUS a separate fee to send messages ON TOP of the fee for any disputes or refunds ...and yet, every👏🏾 single👏🏾 day👏🏾 I have a "connection problem" notification!! I have gotten to your team on more than one occasion about this issue and it is still a persisting problem. I dread having to change again, but it's a definite possibility as of late!
1 ★Sooo, genbook customer here. Did the migration over the weekend to mitigate issues. Not sure if booksy will grow on me, as of now I hate it. And the mobile app doesn't work. Can't get past the login screen. I type one letter of my password and my keypad disappears and it won't come back. Uninstalled, reinstalled and same issue. Extremely frustrating.
1 ★This app is horrible. I've used gembook and acuity, I'd rather use either of those over Booksy. Why? We're receiving notifications for every appointment, instead of just our own individual appointment bookings? This has been going on at least a year, fix your app. Edit: need more specifics? The app is constantly going down...we can't make appointments, cancel, or sometimes even see any appointments. Can our clients even book appointments? Are you messing with my money now? Horrible, stay away!
3 ★Until the update, the app worked decently but now it's nothing but issues. The app won't even connect and open properly unless I'm on wifi. Even on wifi there are connection issues causing me to constantly close and open again. At times I've had to manually charge clients through another app. Now on top of everything, the app is telling me that the Square app is not installed on my phone. I feel like the app has become more inconsistent and unreliable.
1 ★Don't bother inquiring about this app. Aside from all the connection issues others have mentioned, I can't even reach their sales team. I have made 3 separate phone calls to try and schedule a demo, only the first of those was returned. The rep I spoke to was going to send me a link for a trial period, so I could get familiar with the app. I never got ANY email whatsoever from them (even checked spam) and non of the other phone calls were even returned. I shudder to think what support is like.
1 ★Customer service can take days. It has been 3 days about a customers payment. App has some serious flaws, not user friendly, and only works optimally if your client has the customer version, which is ridiculous. Booking and payment should be a seemless process for you and your clients. Neither of those apply to Booksy app. Appointments dramatically decreased for the month I tried this. Former genbook user who was very happy. Have cancelled and moved to another booking app that is similar to genb
1 ★This app at one time changed my life and my business. Now as of March 25th 2021 I have lost hundreds of dollars in to the $1000 plus range. The automated help option is trash and the email service is just as bad. I was emailed by booksy to update my banking information, every since then there have been payments from haircuts I've done that I have not been paid for. I immediately didn't do anything because I assume it would work itself out and the money was just pending. This is terrible!
2 ★This booking app has it's benefits from the looks of it, but there are a few major flaws. One, there is no option to wait on adding a business or demo that you can see the operations (mainly customization options) I am not a shop owner, only an independent contractor of sorts, it was very difficult for me to see if this app/service was worth mentioning to the owner because I didn't want to put our business on the platform yet. Two, the customer service window didn't work. Not the chat or faq.
5 ★I love this app. It has made running my business so much easier. I love that my clients can book at anytime and they no longer have to wait to hear from me. There are just 2 things I wish the app could do. 1- make it so only certain services could be booked on certain days. 2- make it so we could open up a particular day without completely changing the entire set schedule.
1 ★Always had issues with the app being slow and the features were inaccurate most of the time you can't get through to customer service and they won't call you to discuss it has to be done by text. Also the app allows clients to book a service then afterwards they cancel so the don't have to pay the entire service cost. Shameful
