How to install RainMachine APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★Not working with galaxy S24. My contractor can't use the guest option for work. Very disappointed. Have screenshot as proof. Google play says app is for older versions of Android.

1 ★Dont waste your time with these guys. They cut access for all their long-time basic users to try and force them onto a monthly fee. So I bought a Rachio instead. It's waaayy nicer, has great reviews, and no subscription fee required.

1 ★Can no longer connect locally. Renders the machine worthless. Sad. Even if rain machine was going under and could no longer afford their cloud software, they should at least allow local access still. Won't be buying a Rain Machine again, even if they are in business. Update: Rain Machine suggested turning off mobile data. Unfortunately that did not work either. IP address appears correct. Time to move on to a different brand sadly.

1 ★Garbage app that doesn't work! You can't even access your device on the same network anymore. Also now asking for a premium service charge to use as it was manufactured... what a horrible controller!!! I'm switching immediately. UPDATE: this company is going under quick! When you have thousands of upset customers and you think a canned response can justify a VERY obvious bait and switch scam, there's no digging yourself out of this hole! Update 2024: still garbage!!!

3 ★They were ahead of time with smart sprinkler systems but unfortunately went out of business. It started several years ago when charged to use the cloud server and didn't get enough subscribers. For those of you who stated its a simple basic timer system now is incorrect. Mine still gets weather updates from weather servers and calculates how much to water. Although yes the app can't access the system on the local network you can still type in your ip address in the web broswer to gain access.

1 ★To use this app, you MUST purchase, with an annual fee, to use it. To access your own irrigation device. Do NOT buy Rain Machine!! My phone IS connected to the same network as our Rain Machine. A must purchase Rain Machine Premium Services @ $30/year. With buying this rip-off, you can NOT access your own irrigation system zones remotely. Be careful what you buy.

1 ★Paid subscription equals one star. Change things back to how it used to be when I bought this expensive device and I'll give you the stars back. Even over Wi-Fi and in the same room, 95% of the time I cannot connect to my device to do anything

2 ★Keep losing connection when not at the house.

1 ★It's so glitchy. Originally it was great. Allowed me to control my sprinklers remotely. Now they want me to pay for that basic functionality and it won't load my sprinkler at all now.

1 ★Lost all connections to all weather channels. Now it is just a stupid timer that takes 20 min and 20 attempts to connect to rainmashine to turn off the schedule during rain days. Horrible experience. Any 20 year old timers would work just the same. Do not buy this rainmashine! I'm surprised they are still in business. They are not even replying to negative reviews. They simply don't give a damn. Update: it's completely dead now. Wouldn't turn on. Total garbage.
