1 ★Shame of you Krogers/Smiths. Expected more from you. This is not a good in-store app. Scanning weekly "digital deals" rarely works. This feature working is the exception, not the rule! It's also difficult to clip coupons and save to your account. Always disappointed at check out with the performance of this app. It is also cumbersome to navigate and use.. App is overdue to be updated, reworked, simplified, and provide positive functionality. Until then... 1 star.
2 ★Quit making things worse! From one update to the next, the app flips back and forth between being able to add items directly to cart, and then next update it forces you to add everything to a list, THEN add to the cart. The add to list function is a redundant, time wasting step and I do not appreciate it. Please keep it so that we can add directly to cart... or at least give us the option to choose!!! But this back and forth is maddening
1 ★It's bad. The coupons are purposefully hidden in favor of shoving a million undesirable features down your throat. This kind of design makes your app seem like it's desperate to justify its own existence. Like it really wants to be hip and cool for some reason. You're a grocery store app. Coupons, prescriptions, online ordering, and the shopping list feature are literally all you need. Everything else is a waste of time and resources.
2 ★I used to really like this app, but lately it keeps crashing. When I search for something it searches endlessly until my phone freezes and I get a message say the app is not responding. Doubles the time to put together a delivery or pick-up order. I e tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times but that hasn't fixed the problem.
3 ★Other than a couple of minor quirks, the Smith's app is very good and easy to use. However, too many items I used to be able to get by placing a pickup order are now delivery only items! I'm disabled and having my groceries delivered isn't convenient for me, so I wish Smith's would stop moving so many items to delivery only. I realize they're trying to promote their delivery service right now, but excluding pickup & in store customers from being able to get so many items is very frustrating!
2 ★The banner on the app is annoying I try to swipe left or right to see different ads and it continues to swipe right on its on timing then skips back to the first ad when it gets to the end. I don't want to wait for it but want to swipe whenever I want to. And why does it keep showing the pickup location at the bottom in a hovering window? Annoying as all get out!
1 ★My Smith sign on doesn't work with any of my devices. I did everything they told me to troubleshoot. Even change password twice and it only worked once until log back in and error. They wanted me to disable pop-up and ad blockers. You can't do that. I even reset my laptop and nothing, same error. Customer Service is no help. We were in it one and the next thing it won't let me in.
3 ★A little difficult but necessary for my shopping experience. I just uninstalled it because it kept flashing, wouldn't load. Hopefully now it will also stop going to Kroger log in repeatedly. Cash back and digital coupons are valuable to me, although I need to contact customer service because I'm missing several cash back offers. Many of my items are unavailable for pick up for the past couple months, often in-store or delivery only. I'm hopeful things will normalize asap.
3 ★The app is OK. It's not as user-friendly as the Walmart app, but I do like the coupon feature. (Product info, etc, is more detailed in Walmart's app.) Curbside pickup is also not as user-friendly as Walmart's grocery pickup function, but I do like Smith's produce and fresh foods selection, and the fact that they accept physical coupons as well.
2 ★Even years later the check out for pick up in the app still isn't working, makes something that's supposed to be convenient absolutely not. Customer Service's work around is to check out on the website. Why have a feature on the app if you're never going to make it work. Also coupons and cash back for items should show up on an item while you're looking at it, instead of making it secret and difficult to find.
1 ★I don't leave a lot of reviews, but I specifically came here to say I absolutely hate the new coupon filter. It's horrendous. I'm not doing any major shopping at Smith's until it's fixed. Like legit, I am not sifting through 300+ coupons because it won't work correctly. I just wanted to look at my customer bonus and the three day sale, the filters don't work. DON'T FIX WHAT'S NOT BROKEN.
3 ★12/5: My cart is back in the right spot. Still cant search products and coupons at the same time to compare. Once that is back i will update to 5 stars again. 11/30 : very very displeased with the new update. I cannot add items to the cart, it goes to "list". So I cannot do click list from my phone. I get no matching products available for coupons like before. I love shopping at Smith's, I LOVE using the app to do my shopping as I am never able to use my computer. Very disappointed and unhappy.
