Central to the Texecom Connect App experience is the timeline. Events are clearly presented, giving you instant access to review events that have transpired, and also to plan and modify predicted events or changes in system status.
Calendar
The calendar offers a detailed day-by-day record of the previous two weeks events, with one week of recorded video footage. By accessing the calendar, users can view past activity including device activations, home automation recipes and system mode changes. Recorded camera footage can be viewed directly from the calendar as well as the option to view live camera footage.

Recipes
Recipes are a user-friendly way of describing the programming actions that are used for automation. The Texecom Connect App is programmed on the basis of ‘cause and effect’.
Example recipes include, ‘when I enter through my front door and it is dark outside, turn on my hall light’ or ‘when someone is detected at my front door, send a notification message to my phone’.
Modes
A mode is a state in which you would set there home, e.g. holiday mode, bed time mode, day mode. This is a key ‘short cut’ that you can use to put your premises into a known state depending on how you want to use the system. For example, in ‘breakfast mode’, we might expect the system to be disarmed, kitchen power sockets on and kitchen lights turned on if it is dark outside.

1 ★the most horrible app that I've ever seen in my life. no update. no improvement. no one cares some people using and relying on this app for their security. I don't recommend texecom devices and app at all. waste of money. their system have several bugs that I'm sure they are aware of it but simply ignore them. I got tempted several times to bin it and buy another brand and ignore £550 that I paid for this piece of ... .
2 ★Not a great app. You try and arm the system or make changes and 40% of the time it doesn't work. Push notifications only appear to work if the app is running.
4 ★App is good. Notifications are prompt. However, the calendar doesn't show the part arm details. I have setup 3 part arm zones. App won't show which one was selected on the calendar log. Please update this and get 5 star.
5 ★Works well, most issues are down to improper setup and internet - having problems get hold of your system maintainer and get them to deal with it.
2 ★pretty poor. not intuitive. yes its probsbly because its not setup by a "pro" but its next to useless. doesnt even show events that happened or alert on my phone.
1 ★Looks like app is no longer beong developed. No support at all. Paid a lot of money to upgrade my alarm but now it's not useable.

5 ★Great app, never had any problems. I suspect most of the negative reviews are from people who don't know how to set it up properly (this is what happens when your kit is available to any Tom, Dick and Harry!)
