A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Not Really Liking Playster Anymore!!! This app worked great when I first signed up, I went with the Premium version w/tablet & headphones. I was able to find all the content that I loved, now I can't even browse. Playster is taking my money, not giving me the content promised, and not working most of the time. I am very unhappy with Playster. I wish I could get my money back.
1 ★they have an algorithm that once you listen to "x" amount of titles, all of the new/in demand/not in the public domain titles are removed from your available listening list. when i did not use my account for 3 months the "good" titles reappeared... then once i listened to 2 or 3, they went away again! classic bait and switch if you only listen to 2 or 3 audiobooks, its a great deal.... but the premious package is a scam!! buyer beware!!!
2 ★Like MANY other reviews on here, I have been listening to Playster for over a year now, had no problems finding and listening to series and multiple books by authors, authors such as Stephen King, Anne Rice, John Grisham, Ken Follett, and Dianna Gabledon, all of which have several books and series I had no problem finding and listening to. Now all of a sudden I cannot find books by these author, yet I still have to pay premium for non premium authors and books. I demand a fix. I have tried to contact Playster three times, nobody has contacted me after they say I will be contacted within a day and that they would escalate the issue. I have seen their replies on all these reviews, saying that its because of geographic restrictions, all the books I have been trying to listen to are old!! Like Steven king from the 80's and 90's, or the Outlander series from the 80s and 90's. I saw one post that said she deleted her account, signed up for another account and voila! They had content back!!! This is stealing and misleading and I will post this review on more websites in hopes that they will fix this.
1 ★Beware this is a bait and switch. I signed up on the 1st. And was only able to use the service maybe 3-4 days. I paid for the 30 dollar audio book plan. Outside of the 3-4 days it would only show me books in the cheaper plan. After many interaction ( chat, email ) I was sent an email saying they were in the middle of changes that would change what books were going to be available in each country. So basically suck it up till we change what you paid for to something else. Save your money.
3 ★Update failed. So my app updated on Jan 7th 2019 and was working fine on Jan 10th until now at 5 PM the app logged me out and won't let me log back in, telling me I need to update. IT ALREADY UPDATED! Already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Nope. I like this app, but you guys have some serious technical issues that you need to hammer out. This is getting old.
1 ★Absolutely awful app. Try "Scribd" instead! Audiobooks can't be removed from your saved lists if you decide you don't like the book and don't want to finish it. Playback is spotty with lots of delays and interruptions. Buttons too small for those of that use the app while driving to listen to books. Very often I could not perform an action without the pop-up indicating I needed to pay for that service, even though I DID pay. I recommend the "Scribd" app, which has unlimited library for $9 per month. I deleted this app and moved to Scribd!
2 ★The user experience is the biggest downfall. I left audible for this apps audio book functionality, but I'm going back to audible once I'm done with my book. It's about the small things: this app is slow, when I leave it and come back, I'm no longer in my audio book, I have to once again select the audio book section of the app, then I have to find my book again, which one would assume would be right there, but no, outs a bunch of suggestions. Why wouldn't it open right to my library? Then once I find my book, it at least remebers where I was. It does not however remember the dictation speed. So, I have to reset that. Finally, after all that, I can listen to my book again where I left off. Compare that to audible... I launch the app and push play. It remembers my book, location, and speed and it makes it the first thing I see when I open the app. Another thing I dislike in this app is that it continues to play after I disconnect it from my Bluetooth. Neither my music app nor audible does that. So I have to get my phone out and find the app to shut it up. Which brings me to another thing: when audible or my music app are running the play/pause, skip buttons appear when I swipe down and I can easily control the app when I've switched to other tasks. This doesn't have that. So in summary, compared to audible, this has a way worse user experience. If I listen to a book in audible, I get in my car and push play. In fact most times it just starts playing once my phone connects to Bluetooth. Then when I get out of the car it stops. It's like it can read my mind. This app requires setup every time just to get back to listening.
2 ★I want to like Playster. I've attempted a subscription, a premium one at that, for over a year and have canceled each time shortly after purchasing. Why? Because no less than three different times and different titles, did the book disappear from their catalog. I'm paying over $30 a month, happily so due to the number of audiobooks I listen to and while I am a mere few hours from finishing, the book is no longer available. I cannot stress enough how utterly frustrating this is. I emailed and spoke to a customer service person and both times they gave me an excuse of "restructuring" which apparently can occur at any time. I'm not sure what "restructuring" means in Playster's world but in mine, it means I'm finished with this service. I've given this glitchy app (which I just dealt with) too many chances. It's unfortunate due to the service this could and should be. Again, I really want to like Playster but the frustration isn't worth the money.
1 ★If you're smart, you'll stay away from this app. The free trial is just a few minutes of the book. They bait you with showing the first book in a series as standard and show the remaining books as premium books so you have to upgrade to a premium account. After listening to the second book the remaining books no longer show up unless you log out of your account. At least for me on several different devices. We called the customer support number to let them know that we could see all of the books in the series while not logged in. Makita, the rep if you want to call her that was a joke. Her take it or leave it attitude was the last straw. Unfortunately this app doesn't deliver what it says, so we cancelled the account.
3 ★The app is alright. Definitely not better than Audible for the fact of renting vs buying. I personally would rather buy and have permanent access to my books. I dont always have the money to keep a subscription going all the time. Especially if I'm not using it as much. If I am not paying for an Audible sub I still have access to all my books and my family can gift me thier unused credits.
1 ★Horrible customer service and lots of false advertisements when they say unlimited it's a lie, and I signed up for a monthly membership for audiobooks (which cost me 14.95) then I got a pop up to try their "unlimited" trial for 99 cents for 3 months. Not only is it not unlimited (does not include audiobooks) but when I got a hold of support the told me that the new membership canceled my audiobooks subscription (which i didn't have for the full month even though i paid for a full month) and as if that's not enough they also charged me 11.49 for my "99 cent" "unlimited " trial....they are horrible and i would suggest anyone to stay with audiable which is what I will be doing.
1 ★Complete and Utter False Advertising! I'm so glad I did the "limited 14 day trial"(rather than the advertised 30 days) and didn't UPGRADE MY FREE TRIAL to the 30 days by putting my CC info in after reading other reviews. How does that even make sense? Why would I need to upgrade a free trial status? I looked for books that weren't there, no the search engine and available selection sucks, and on that note, I've read thru a lot of the reviews for this app, and have some issues based on those Playster has replied to customer reviews stating that the content availability issue there may be due location or your plan. It's a media app..how does location come into play with the available content? With the plans..If the company is going to up their pricing due to increased customer base, then you should still honor the agreement entered by Playster to your customers(i.e. if they are on Unlimited plan, you up $, they should still have the same access-if not more for price increase-on Unlimited Plan as previously offered before price change, not less) and you shouldn't call it unlimited unless it really is. That's just common sense and basic business ethics. How is it possible to over listen when you boast UNLIMITED? Needless to say, I'm cancelling. At this rate, I truly don't think this app should or will be open much longer.
