3 ★Overall, a useful app. Although there are many bugs and crashes I experience, ones that have not always happened. I would like to call attention to one issue; When I attempt to send a file in through teams to anything the app will freeze or kick me out entirely. I ask that this please be fixed as it creates many issues for me and my work.
1 ★1) Images from phones don't go through. It shows sent but on other side image just doesn't open. This is 100% of the times. 2) Phone doesn't ring if someone calls on Teams, even when notifications are turned ON. 3) Chats disappear and come back, few texts sent by me show as if it was sent by someone else. Then reopening app a few times corrects itself. Tired of using Teams on phone but hands are tied not to.
1 ★No device menu, no Bluetooth sound, ever hold your phone up to your ear for a 2 hour meeting? I checked all the troubleshooting options, but really, uninstalling the app. Didn't help. Useless app that will not use headphones. Everything else works. I hate to just be negative, but really, why doesn't this just work.... I see comment after comment on forums about this issue, if you want people to use teams on their android, get Bluetooth working.
2 ★It isn't as simple as it should be to sign up... And once you are signed up with a new Outlook email, anytime you open Teams to do anything at all, it redirects you to a sign in page for Outlook saying you need to put in your password because of sensitive information. It does this over and over, never actually signing you in or giving access to Teams.
3 ★It mostly works as the instant messenger app we primarily use it for, but the keyboard issue is driving me crazy. If I tap on the box to respond, the keyboard pops up over the box and nothing appears if I type. I have to hit the back button, dismiss the keyboard, and then tap in the box again. Every time. This is annoying and inefficient.
2 ★To preface, I've enabled every notifications option available and never have do-not-desturb enabled. First, this app for some reason only sends me 20% of the notifications it should, a meeting will start and I will be none the wiser. Second, once you're in a meeting there's only one option for Bluetooth, meaning that since I'm connected to both my earbuds and my car, it will always play through my car. No options to switch to ear buds, sorry passengers, you get to listen too.
1 ★I use Teams frequently for work and personal calls. On the phone app, and only the phone app, I'll try to join a meeting and the app insists on trying to sign me into my Hotmail account. If that account isn't the one invited to the meeting, I'll go in an endless loop to sign in. The desire to try and create a single ecosystem has made this app useless. Great job.
3 ★Please fix the bug where the auto suggest incorrectly places the cursor after adding the word so it's randomly in the middle of the word. This is really annoying and I have to keep fixing words a putting the cursor back in the right spot. I'm on a Pixel 6a with the Gboard. Only reason I use teams is because I have to for work. Also fix the syncing and connection inconsistencies. If I send a message it should be sent right then and there. Messages show in notification but not app
3 ★In general Microsoft Teams is not as good as Google. I used both extensively. The main issue with MS is the online version of the application suite functions differently from the desktop versions. In most cases the online version is lacking and glitchy. As for the Teams mobile app it has mostly been a good experience with respect to chats, calendar, and meetings. Again, the mobile Teams chat functions differently than the desktop, just not a good experience to deal with the excentricities.
4 ★works great though sometimes it seems like there are refresh issues. sometimes it's faster than my laptop and sometimes significantly slower. The most frustrating thing is when I try to go into a chat to enter text but the screen does not adjust properly so I have to back out and then go in again to see the text entry area. It always works the second time. Should always work the first time I'm trying to enter text. That's a bug.
2 ★Latest version has many, many shortcomings, including: - Removing the ability to filter chats by unread - Replacing said filter with a list of Teams Channels I don't want to see. If I wamted Teams channels I'd click on the Teams Channels button - Still has an arbitrary limit on the number of chats I can see, because all chats are either "recent" or "pinned" - If a chat falls off the bottom of the list, good luck ever finding it again because the search can't find named chats - ...and more!
1 ★Autosuggestion bounces the cursor position around scrambling messages. This is the 7th Android phone this happens on where the auto suggestion somehow causes the typing cursor to bounce backwards in the message and end up with a scrambled gibberish. It's been years and it's absurd. This is still not fixed and there are reports of others with this issue
