4 ★posted 2/18/2021 (media since 2/14/2021 update doesn't save to device in order of most recently downloaded, but instead saves in order of some other date and time listed in media data. changing where sync saves its media did not make images save in order of most recent.) developer responded rapidly and has said they will fix.
1 ★This app constantly bothers you to give a rating. Making the pop-up box have only a "Later" button instead of a "No" button makes me wish there was an option to give zero stars. Edit: For the record, if there was a never button on the nag popup, this review would never have happened.
4 ★Easy app to use overall however as a few minority of people who use the google pixel its hard to access some features (e.g subbing to a subreddit) because swiping from the edge of the screen is techniqually the "back button" for us. So it'll be nice if there was a work around for us pixel users.
5 ★I've been using Sync for years. It provides a very smooth Reddit experience, and I've found issues to be few and far between. I find that Sync stays true to the feel of old Reddit, which I like. I'm not about to find out what kind of UI abomination their official app is.
1 ★Developer response mentioned banner ads and claims they are used by everyone. I agree, but they aren't intentionally placed where your fingers sit so you click and leave the app 40 times. You say to buy the app to get rid of the ads, and that's perfectly fine, when you're forced to buy the ad free version just to stop the annoying ads literally covering the bottoms of every photo and you can't read the rest? I refuse to be forced to pay just because. I buy useful apps, not deceitful ones.
4 ★Add the latest Reddit mobile features please. Avatar,banner,new buttons everything please+also I see the same feed everytime I open it. The posts don't change much. Please fix it. I used reddit mobile and scrolling was always something new
4 ★I love the look and customizability, but the interface and settings are confusing. I had a lot of trouble trying to figure out how to show the whole image in a card.
1 ★This update ruined it. Don't blame Google. Account wont stay logged in. Settings won't save. Had to reinstall. Still no good. Do better and bring it back to normal.
3 ★Good app but costly if you want to buy it. Ad free version is much costlier compard to other apps. I really wanted to buy, but can't afford it, so will rather use an ad blocker.
5 ★Edit: thank you! I uninstalled the webview app and that resolved the issue. App seems to be crashing each time I try to open it. Only works when I clear the app data, I open and close it. As soon as I try to open it again it crashes immediately.
3 ★Adverts are quite intrusive and the app made my newish phone entirely freeze when trying to play a video (only app to have ever done this).
2 ★I disabled all the filters yet the app refused to show the content in unfiltered form. I rechecked settings 5 times. All filters are disabled. This is frustrating.
