Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Updated for developer response: Thank you for pointing that out. Still not a fan of that action now being a click + swipe + click or 2 clicks for an action that used to be available right on the menu bar; much better than removing a feature though! Maybe I'm missing an option for that, but at least it's usable. Big fan of Sync Pro so I hope this can retain a similar feel with customization!
2 ★I appreciate this is the dev version and that the most recent release was a big shift so maybe not all previous settings could be retained. That being the case, I would have appreciated some warning in the release notes to backup my settings before updating to this version. I've lost all the keyword & subreddit filters I had, along with all other personalisations made over many years of use.
4 ★Probably the best Reddit app available. Certainly the only one I've found with infinite scrolling on anything other than the front page. My only complaint is I wish I would've known to buy the pro version and just join the beta.
5 ★Hands down my favorite app for reddit, far superior than the official app. But I have some qualms about the recent update. * I used to use OLED black background but with the recent update, it's just a shade of grey. I'm not able to make it grey. * The upvote / downvote buttons are too close together. Use the real estate of the phone instead of encroaching the buttons together. * I do not like the new comment view, I'm probably just missing the horizontal separator between each comments.
4 ★Q: Swiping Sideways Goes to Next/Previous Subreddit? Another app has this. It would make Sync the king if this option was available in settings. Why? Because it would reduce going to next/previous Subreddit super-fast instead of a multi step UI/UX process. You can have a bottom bar of Subreddits as you swipe. Try it for yourself as a beta & you'll love it. Otherwise it's the perfect app. 5*
5 ★I've been using Sync for years now. And quite personally I love the app, glad I found it, glad I paid the money for no ads then went to the dev version. LJDawson, the creator and developer of Sync is such an awesome person. He updates the app frequently and with intention on making it better for all who use it. Definitely worth it. 11/10.
1 ★I've had this developer version for at least four or five years now and only now bothering to leave a review to vent my frustration with the new UI. It's just horrendous and so difficult to use. Inferior in every way to the old UI.
5 ★Everytime I think it's perfect, they're will be a new update fixings things I didn't know we're broken and adding things I needed but didn't know I did. Never crashes, lightening fast, full of features. Amazing.
5 ★Active and responsive dev, simple yet customizable app. This is what all apps should strive for. Edit: wow, the new update is amazing. Miles better than the stable version, and I can't remember the last time I've written that. Kudos.
5 ★Really liking the new design. A+ work. I uninstalled awhile ago to try new reddit apps and decided to try this again. I'm definitely sticking with this one. You've fixed my previous issues with it and made it better looking by far. Good work. Happy with my purchase.
4 ★Stable and good now. Not as stuttery as before, and searching no longer crashes the app in seconds. The only problem is that the search function no longer has a clear subreddit search function, or at least it's no longer apparent.
5 ★I've tried just about every 3rd party Reddit app out there, and this is as good as they come. if you could subscribe to subs directly from the search results, it might be literally perfect.
