Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★This is no longer loading posts. It started yesterday and continues this morning. I have version 5.8.2 on a pixel 2XL. It continues to give unable to load Reddit may be down or filters may be blocking. I have a good internet connection, rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app with no help... Bummer
4 ★The app has been great up until a couple of days ago. It's now compressing picture submissions making them under 1000x1000 resolution. Other than that, this app is an amazing alternative to the official app!
5 ★The app is great and I've used it for many years. I just have a request. Can we get the app updated to support Google's new Android design language? They're doing away with the slide out side menu since you now swipe from the edge to go back with gesture navigation. Google Maps is a good example of this.
2 ★Great app but after an update I can no longer post comments. I tired logging off and back in but didnt help. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didnt help. Changing the rating from 3 down to two Star. just found out not only can't I leave/reply comments but now I can't down/up vote post. I haven't been banned or block from and subs. Please fix this used to be a five star app.
3 ★Cool reader, love the look and feel, but can you give us the option to tap on the subreddit or author name and go to the profile or subreddit? We have to use a separate menu and its a bit annoying. Also gfycat and imgur links you have to tap on instead of there being a preview
4 ★Been using it for a long time. Suddenly nothing loads. Fix soon?
5 ★Im not sure I like it so much, just everytime i get a new device this is my first install. I just have one question or complaint is that I have not found a way to backup settings yet so I can just transfer it over to a new install on a new device instead of having to go through the whole settings all over again could you add that in or am I just missing it?
5 ★Thank you for this great awesome app. Working great on my very veeery old old android 4. Thank you!
5 ★alerted the development team to a bug and they jumped right on it. It is rare that you get this response time from the devs in mobile apps. i also love the UI and reccomend it as the app to go with for reddit. i have been using it for years and still use it!
5 ★The only problem with this app is that you scroll down through a few posts decide you want to read some comments or what not then you press the back button and you go back to scrolling down through all the same posts once again.
3 ★Everything is good except you can't view downloaded video clips from the app. The videos seem to be corrupt/unplayable. Please advise.
2 ★This was my go to for years. Then I tried other apps and they are better in every possible way. Give the devs some credit as they are giving it a solid effort but overall the experience is lacking.
