Live wallpaper without the battery drain 🔋
From the very beginning Material Islands was built to have an as small as possible impact on both your RAM and battery. The islands are not doing any superfluous animations that make your device stutter but instead are silently updated in the background so that anytime there's a redraw ready it has already happened! Forget 60 FPS, with Material Islands it is more like a handful frames a day!

What's new in version 0.85
Location info:Material Islands only asks for the device’s location if the setting “Use live weather” has been enabled, in order to provide weather functionality to the user as an addition to the live wallpaper backgrounds. Only longitude and latitude is being sent to MET Norway via an API, no other device specific data. If location data is disabled, the app will work just fine except for the weather feature.

2 ★I liked this app in the first place but i am upset vecause tge live weather feature always looks out for location and so doesnt work at all. All the other location apps find my location finely except for this one. If this is solved, then i will lookout to increase the rating
5 ★Very nice in all its simplicity! The style of art is personal of course but it's straight up my alley. Maybe allow users to change place manually instead of only using location for weather?

5 ★This is such a beautiful and well done app for wallpapers, this helps stands out my phone. Though, i recommend adding small little animations such as cars driving across the city or building lights turning off and on, if you were to pick the "Isle of Urbanity". Overall, this is a wonderful art gallery of live wallpapers, i cannot wait to see what is more to come for this app. Thank you for catching my eye and customing my device to a unique look.

4 ★Hi! Firstly, loving this app, and it's really not pushy to get the live weather (which I will purchase when I ask this question)! Just one thing: I can't work out how to set it as my lock screen! As this app is so good, I must just be missing and it would be most appreciated if someone could notify me where the setting is! Thanks guys
4 ★Love it. So simple yet effective. Have been using it for years and just found it again a month ago. New isles added would be fantastic. I have one issue so far, I bought the live weather but it's not accurate. It tells me that there is no weather detected and default is sun, but it's snowing out heavily in my location. Please fix this issue. Will edit to 5 stars when it's fixed.

4 ★Edit: As of today the weather is showing correctly once again for my area. Parallax doesn't work but I decided to purchase live weather anyway. Unfortunately, it worked only once for about a day. I'm so disappointed. At least the randomization & time of day image changes work. This app has the potential to be great but judging from other comments, the developer doesn't seem too interested in fixing or even acknowledging these issues because they've been ongoing for quite awhile! Such a shame.
