Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

5 ★Makes up where the default app lacks, more than I'd hoped for. Like old reddit, but for mobile.
3 ★Constantly crashes and links work when they want to.
1 ★It will spontaneously open ads without input from the user.
1 ★Crashes on startup suddenly now.
2 ★I'm giving this two stars because it *used* to be the gold standard for Reddit clients. But recent updates have done away the tried-and-true minimalist UI, and made the layout more cluttered and less aesthetically pleasing. Ads have also gotten more obtrusive. They're now integrated into the content feed instead of being a separate thing that I could easily ignore. There also seem to be more of them than ever. Disappointing. I'm uninstalling and shopping around for a new Reddit client.
4 ★I love using this app. It's a much better much better experience than the official app. I give 4 of 5 starts because perfection is impossible, and there is always room for improvement. I have found that if I want to start a subreddit, I have to go to not only the desktop site, but old.reddit to do so. Perhaps that is an area that could be improved, though it is niche I admit.
3 ★I have used this app across 3 phones over the last 5 or so years and its always been good. I like a lot of the features. Lately, images do not load, gifs don't work, videos won't play. I thought it had something to do with my old phone since it was getting on 4 years old. I just got a brand new phone and the same issues persist.
5 ★Audio ads will randomly play with no way to mute them. Used to be a good app though. *Editing my review to say audio ads haven't popped up in a few days. May have just been a glitch, I don't know, but it was REAL bad there for a few days though... Changing to 5 stars. Thanks for the reply, Dev!
3 ★Please add a feature to be able to search within a post.
2 ★Really gone downhill. Now the ads load seconds before you click something and you click on the next/previous sub instead. Can't use it anymore while at work as what I look at is too unpredictable. Actively looking for a replacement.
1 ★They don't display NSFW subreddits. Garbage app, but the UI is simple and easy to use.
1 ★The ads are too intrusive. I understand the need for them and I've never really been bothered by them when I first used the app years ago, but they've gotten to the point where they are also contained in the feed and appear more frequently.
