Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★I'm giving this 5 stars because it's been my go-to app for Reddit for years. But now nothing will load. It just states "Something went wrong. Check your internet connection and try again.". I'm hoping this will be resolved soon as I've had to switch apps for now. OnePlus 6, Android 10 Edit: working perfectly now :)
1 ★Was working great for the last few years, but as of today all I get is "something went wrong. Check your internet connection" error - even after force stop, cache clears, and signing out and signing back in. My phone is only a year old and is up to date along with my boost app. I'll just have to use a different app, the money I spent on no ads isn't worth this annoyance.
5 ★Better then the actual reddit app. The only issue as of today (July 16, 2021) is that it keeps showing the "problem with your internet connection" error. The official reddit app works though. Would be a shame if this app stopped working. It's the only app I ever decided to pay for since I use it so much. Edit: Huge thanks to the developer for fixing the issue quickly. Reddit updated their security protocol that broke that inadvertently app, but it works perfectly now.
2 ★This really is a great app, but it randomly stopped working yesterday. Now when I try to use it, it says "there's something wrong with your internet connection" and refuses to load Reddit. Switched to Relay and there's no such issues. Too bad because I'd prefer Boost.
3 ★Hello. Similar to other users, I am getting the "something went wrong. Pls check your internet connection and try again" error. I am certain my Internet works well and this problem is immediately resolved when I use the anonymous mode. But when I use any of my accounts, after a while the error returns.
3 ★Something went wrong. Not a single hint on WHAT that something is. Logging out and back in seem to fix it for a couple of hours. Nice when it works, but now, out of the blue, it doesn't, and only tells you this generic error message, which isn't helping.
3 ★I kept getting a "Something is wrong with your internet "error. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the error persisted even after checking to make sure it was working. I feel like I wasted my money removing the ads for this app. I am Completely disappointed
5 ★Edit: from others I've read that the connection error issue will stop if you log out and back in, and this worked for me! I feel it would be helpful for the developer to announce this though. Pretty great app, some difficulties but nothing major. However all day long I've been unable to use it, been seeing an error "connection issue" everytime I open it and it isn't my connection. I tried reinstalling and it didn't help. Hope it's fixed soon, this is the only Reddit app I like!
5 ★I've tried a lot of Reddit apps and this is my favourite one. It has nearly all the features I need with a really nice interface. The only thing I would like added is Reddit's chat function. Sometimes Redditors will message me via chat and I won't see it until I browse Reddit on the PC. But otherwise I highly recommend this app for Reddit. Edit july 2021: brief issue but it was quickly fixed!
5 ★I loved the app, but as of today I am just getting the something went wrong error. I saw other replies about TLS protocol. I'm on a Note 9 which isn't that old so I really don't think that is the issue. Logging out of my account and then clearing the apps memory seems to have fixed my issue for now.
5 ★Used it for quite some time and it's great. You can customise so much that you can't really go wrong with it. I would like the ability for accounts to be auto logged out when you leave the app aswell as a password/fingerprint check on accounts that you have logged in. (Edit) had changed password so removed bit about not being able to log in and upgraded to 5 stars
5 ★Great app but I have a pixel 4 and started experiencing the connection issue error yesterday. Didn't expect this to happen as the phone isn't exactly ancient, anything I can do? I don't want to install a different app but if I have no other option I'll be forced too.
