Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

3 ★Inconsistent. Works better on PC than Android for sure. But cost of being able to use on two devices is crazy. More expensive than my paid antivirus. Can't afford it. Forced to keep the app on my phone just so I can have access to it on phone and look things up when I'm on my PC. Has trouble filling passwords on Android, will say there's no match, then I go look up password in the app and come back, then it offers to fill the page. As if I had to show it where the matching site is. Ugh!
1 ★Always "unable to start autofill service". Doesn't show pop up on login fields about 1/3rd of the time. If these bugs aren't fixed soon then I'm migrating to 1Pass. Edit 1: I'm a business customer who pays for multiple users. The 1 Star isn't because Last Pass is now charging you to use multiple devices, I have been paying for LastPass for a while, but it is telling that LastPass has decided to start charging for an app that is gradually getting worse and worse. Edit 2: Moved to Zoho Vault 👋
3 ★I had no problems moving from X-marks to LastPass. Lastpass didn't work well on Android at first, but LogMeIn, Inc. started to rectify most of the issues straight away and also regularly made improvements along the way. The future looked bright (even without boookmark syncing)! Then problems with certain browser and mobile extensions that require a login (eg.Ghostery) started to occur and are ongoing and still haven't been resolved over the last three years. The password entry, or "helper" popup, often appears when the cursor enters, or opens, search bars, when opening certain apps and address boxes on certain sites, and lists potential sites and their associated usernames/profiles/e-mail addresses, and sometimes even fills in names and passwords automatically on other sites in search or address bars! In early/mid 2021 there have been bigger changes, like having to pay for Premium because you need to use Lastpass on two machines. Other changes include the inability to choose a payment method you trust, or have an account with, no longer being able to choose the method of payment and no longer being able to choose the payment currency. This means that you cannot gift a years Premium, you cannot use PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iBank, Bitcoin or even a simple bank transfer. Quality has seriously diminished over the last year (2020/2021), I used to say that LastPass was worthy of taking over X-Marks, but now I'm concerned for them to have just one of my bookmarks, let alone a few hundred of my passwords. I have started to look elsewhere for for this simple, but important, aid.
1 ★The app used to be ok, although I get a persistent error that it cannot autofill on my phone even though I've reset it several times. Now they won't even let you into your phone in offline mode unless you pay for premium. What a joke. I'll be looking for a new password manager.
1 ★Trash App Don't Pay For Premium because you will not be given access to premium features you will be stuck in the same service you could have for free even after paying the upgrade subscription price of $35. The exact same thing happened as described in the two previous comments before mine 👇👇, the Google cops should look into the thefts occuring in their watch. Ridiculous!
2 ★It used to be a good password manager. But since late last year or so the app stopped autofilling most of the user/pass fields, even if I prompt it to. It just becomes a downward spiral from there as fewer and fewer apps/websites works with LP. And starting this week the phone app stopped recording my passwords, instead just recording them as ********. That is frustrating and the team needs to fix the android app fast.
1 ★All seemed wonderful, until I needed support - I am on a paid subscription. As one stores critical info on LastPass, one would think their support is fast, comprehensive and accessible. It is none of these - no telephone number, no email addresses. So only options are complex searching for a solution under FAQ's, or sending an online query which no-one responds to.
3 ★I've been using last past for years. It doesn't seem like it has improved in a while. I'd like to see more improvements on form-filling passwords. It'd be great if I could use it on my TV. I think that generate password should be on the front menu instead of having to dig into another menu to find it. The LastPass keyboard could use a lot of swipe Improvement too. I've actually stopped using it on mobile for apps started storing in Google because Google is better at form-filling most apps.
2 ★How can this app still be so flaky after many years? Examples... 1) Search for something in this app, go use another app, come back and search for something else. It won't show up unless you leave search and then search again. This is a major pattern of use. 2) Why is it RIDICULOUSLY difficult to share with my wife? 3) Sharing COMPLETELY screws up organization of items. Update 2021/06/11: I decided to try LP again. First step, launching of the app, FAIL. It just sits stuck at the launch screen.
1 ★I find LastPass to be very effective on a desktop unit only. My issue is with the mobile device. on a mobile device typically LastPass will not execute itself easily will not overlay itself even though the setting has been made to do that and various other problems it's almost useless.I'm going to compare it to Kaspersky and see the differences between the two therefore I may become a subscriber to LastPass if Kaspersky works better. finally the desktop version of LastPass works great Great. 👍
3 ★Works great except for two things: passwords don't tend to stay copied to the clipboard after generating a new password, resulting in me having to reset my password a 2nd time immediately after the first time, because when I go to paste the generated password, nothing generates. Secondly, on iOS, the app goes completely on the fritz every time I try the Security tab. Total unresponsiveness half of the time, and no less than 10 second lag times for any input/click the other half of the time.
1 ★Man, as a long time user of LastPass and also a premium user, them getting greedy got me to cancel and not look back. It's going to be annoying migrating to a different service, which makes things worse. I don't have access to my passwords on my phone now, which makes this service completely useless. Easy come, easy go, I suppose.
