Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★Edit June 9, 2019 Ok, adding one star as I heard back from the support team. however, still 2 stars because: 1. there is still no 'no parking spot' map. if you happen to park at a place where the app wouldn't tell you not to park beforehand, you have shell out EUR 25,00 extra. 2. the help page on the app says "page not found". seriously. 3. the "call for support" opens the phone dialer with no number. if call support is not enabled for the country, then the option should altogether disappear. the support phone number on the webpage directed by app doesn't support Germany (where the service is supported, and the app was downloaded).
1 ★When I was notified of a 25 dollar fee for parking, I quickly tried to get back on the bike and it was locked, I promptly got back on and moved it to a parking area, it is outrageous that the charge was applied without any warning, I should also add this no parking area is a straight line where little areas for parking are available without blocking pedestrian traffic or putting it in shrubbery. This is a gimmicky money grabbing tactic and if you value your money, go elsewhere.
2 ★Bikes themselves are a great resource, when the app is actually functioning. Today I was unable to get FIVE BIKES in a ROW. Bike 1: Jammed cable lock (has happened before, even passerby cant unlock it). Bike 2: "Cant Reserve" for no discernable reason Bike 3: "Cant Reserve" Bike 4: Not where the map said Bike 5: Map is in South America?? also happened before! Now I'm so late I had to call a $12 Lyft. And while the map says there are no nearby bikes, I'm looking at FOUR across the street 🙄
5 ★These bikes are great and way better than the lime bikes for various reasons. The most important reason for me is that they are a good height for people under 6 feet so my feet can reach the ground to stop, while the lime bikes are too tall. The bikes also have a great electric assist. They also have three gears. For rentabikes these are great. The app itself can be buggy but the bikes make up for it.
1 ★took my stored credit away from me with the new version of the app. I sent a support ticked but they responded with a meaningless reply to create an account when I already have an account and didn't even say anything about my lost credit. I lost money and so did my brother. Dont give money to this evil greedy mega corp. I wont ever be using Uber again. there is plenty of alternatives.
2 ★my experience was terrible. I picked up a scooter where are there were two other scooters from the same company. I got it back to my place and park it only to be told I was outside the service zone and got slapped with a $25 service fee. moved in across the street by a couple businesses and got slapped with another $25 fee. I ended up getting my money back. be careful with these scooters and only use them in the service area. otherwise they will try to rob you!
1 ★App crashes and full of bugs. I tried for a half hour to rent a bike, but Jump kept saying my card I was trying to add was already on the account. I deleted all payment methods and it STILL would not let me add a card. Finally I downloaded the Uber app, deleted all my payment methods in there, THEN Jump let me add a card. Ridiculously painful.
5 ★Since the new update I've had a more consistent experience, however the monthly option i had needed to be reactivated by calling in customer service. i hope they monthly isn't going away because its the best option for communters like myself who dont own a car. i uber when i need to but the bikes are great when i have short distances or need to make the train. the bikes are great but sometimes you get a bad bike which is expected with rideshare bikes. keep working on infrastructure
1 ★Pathetic, truly. It took forever to load the available bikes. I couldn't book either of the two bikes I tried. First bike kept loading and loading, second bike was not available. I wasted 30 minutes not traveling at all and then walked away. Deleting app forever and will try E-Lime next trip.
1 ★Three bikes with issues. Three. Your service sucks. How does a new bike with a full battery not have a working motor? How does a bike with an obvious flat go unnoticed for so long? How does my friends bike keep chsrging him for minutes on end even though hes locked it and tried to end the ride, with no option to end the ride on the app? What a mess of an app and a mess of a bike service. Avoid at all costs.
1 ★So disappointed. Ever since I was forced to merge my Jump account with Uber, the app has not worked correctly. The former app was pretty good. Many complaints, such as no "parking area" depicted & no "near me" feature. Have the developers even tried to use their own software?
1 ★Used to be a dope reasonable way to get around the city. Now instead of reasonable prices Uber is doing away with dollar upcharge to activate bike to trick users into paying more per minute. A 30 minute ride which could get you across town would cost less than 4 bucks. Now it will be 7 dollars for the same amount of time. Replying to my review with an auto message instead of adressing the price hike on price hike launch day was extra scummy.
