L’attività commerciale iniziata nel 1993 nell’ambito del tappeto ha permesso a SITAP di acquisire una grande esperienza ed alta sensibilità nei confronti di questo prezioso elemento di arredo.Su queste basi e sulla vena creativa di un giovane pool di Designer Italiani, che compongono il nuovo Centro Stile aziendale diretto da Barbara Trombatore, poggia la collezione MyDesign 2015: vero concentrato di inventiva “Italian Fashion” applicata al tappeto d’arredamento.
Gran parte dei modelli e disegni contenuti in questa collezione sono stati realizzati negli ultimi mesi e sono stati presentati in anteprima nelle fiere MAISON & OBJET di Parigi ed HOMI di Milano nel mese di settembre 2014, nonché a DOMOTEX di Hannover nel mese di gennaio 2015 ed hanno riscosso immediatamente successo.
Molti dei modelli contenuti in questa Collezione sono basati sul concetto di riutilizzo di materie e manufatti antichi: un aggregato di proposte creative realizzate nei paesi con le migliori tradizioni nel tappeto, ma ideate e progettate da esponenti veri del DESIGN ITALIANO. Una collaborazione di competenze che è andata ben oltre le nostre aspettative.
