Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Recipes are good, but once you add items to your grocery list they remain there permanently. After a month, you are forced to scroll through dozens of expired lists to find the current one buried somewhere in the middle. The more you use it the worse it gets. Uninstalling and clearing app data doesn't work- terrible UI choice by the devs
1 ★Doesn't work, it worked the first couple of times, then it crashes immediately every time I open the app. "note after opening the app about 10 times In a row, it stays open" *note 2 new problem, app now likes to say I have no network, when I do in fact have high speed wifi* this app is a real piece of $hit and the app developer should be ashamed
2 ★The app won't set up the WiFi connection for the Smart WiFi pot. I keeps telling me I need to be connected to a wifi network. I am, I even connected to my 2.4g band ssid instead of my 5g band to ensure compatibility and nothing. It spins for over an hour. Cleared cache, Uninstalled and reinstalled. Same result. UPDATE. The issue is specific to the phone. There is an issue with this software and Samsung. I had an old IPhone around. The app identified my network connection and finished the install. I can now use the app on my Samsung after using an IPhone to complete the wifi setup
1 ★Can't get the wifi to connect on either Pixel XL or iPhone 8, this is so frustrating. App has even crashed several times. Considering returning it. Response to Developer: I've already called and emailed support. They said they have no further suggestions and the product and app are just not working. I've already returned it. I'm leaving the one star review. Shame on you for rushing out a non-working product so millions of people can be duped for Christmas!
1 ★Getting error 006 or oob. Nothing online about it. Without WiFi the lid is properly closed. When I try to activate through WiFi the lid is apparently not properly closed. Even if the manual non phone way considers it closed.
3 ★Seems to work okay for what it does, but a bit lacking in the feature department. Would love to be able to create and save custom programs in the app, but (unless I'm missing something) that isn't possible. The only option is to use a program from a recipe found within the app, which, good as the recipes may be, limits the user's ability to pick something outside of a very small list.
2 ★Also had issues connecting to my wifi. I read through comments and replies and read the support articles, made sure location was on, tried different networks, no luck. After a few hours of trial and error I figured out that my secret key was too complex for the app (caps and nums). When I changed it to exclusively lowercase letters my connection worked. Confirmed that changing it back breaks the connection again. No suggestions, just a general "can not connect" message. Not very user friendly.
4 ★I just received the WiFi version of the iPot today and no real issues setting up the WiFi. The minor issue I did have was phone related, I had to turn off the mobile data to allow the app to communicate directly with the iPot just for the setup. The app is functional but the interface is maybe not as intuitive as it could be. I would have expected everything related to the device to be under the device menu, but that just gives you status and some device specific settings. To actually operate the device you need to go under "instant start", select the modes tab and choose your mode. Once you choose your mode then you can select the device. So far operation from the phone has worked without issues, I can view the status while it is in operation and I get notifications when it's done, so that's a big bonus over the other normal iPots that I have. *Updated to 4 stars* Once you get accustomed to how the interface functions it's not bad.
2 ★The app won't let me log in after an update, claiming there is no network when clearly there is (you wouldn't be seeing this review is there wasn't). This was not required before anyway to connect to the intent pott. Also the app appears to be abandoned generally for a new app, which seems to suggest they're abandoning all the wifi instant pots since that functionality isn't there.
1 ★Broken app - returning the wifi pot. It can't complete the initial setup with the Smart Wifi Pot. It also has some strange demands: a separate account from the other instant pot app, a username AND email (why?), a password AND a secret key (if you can't secure my account with one, more will not help you). Following instructions, it just fails to find the pot. Restarted app and pot, tried about 20 times. I troubleshoot IT equipment for a living and will say this is just broken.
2 ★You can't really control the Instant Pot with this. The only thing you can do is cancel a running program. Also, why in the world is this app called "Remote Control for Smart WiFi?" That could be for any device, and Instant Pot isn't anywhere in the title, so you can't search for it in your apps.
1 ★Frustrating and painful. It isn't worth the effort nor the money to get the wifi instant pot just to deal with this non-functional app. Everything you would desire an app to do for this instant pot is not there or only there while you have the screen up. Don't get the wifi option. I regret it already.
