何謂「一念蓮華」生命關懷
「一念蓮華生命關懷」是「財團法人圓覺宗智敏·慧華金剛上師教育基金會」創始人 智敏金剛上師與 慧華金剛上師，延續諸佛與歷代祖師的度生悲願所發起。依佛經所說，生命最後一念至為重要，可以決定下一世，是生人天或墮下三道（地獄、餓鬼、畜生）。這一念為善，即生善道，這一念為惡，即生惡道；即使此生造了很大的罪業，也可以因為臨終一念專注念佛，而得以往生。反之，平時雖然念佛，但是臨終一念卻為貪欲、嗔恨、愚癡的念頭所牽引，則會因這一念失誤，而墮入惡道。如果這最後一念能夠全心全意念「阿彌陀佛」，求生極樂世界淨土，則能與佛相感應，往生淨土，如此，上一念生命在這世界剛結束，下一念就在極樂世界的蓮花中化生。對其他宗教信仰者而言，也可隨其「念」，想到何處就到何處。幫助臨終者把握此生最後一念念佛往生極樂的助念，費力少而成效大，因為此生最後一念，正是生死交關的一念，也是生命交替的一念，所以這一念的力量也最為強大，這便是「一念蓮華」的意義。
