Fade In Mobile Basic APK Download for Android

Description

Fade In Mobile is a companion app for Fade In Professional Screenwriting Software for working with Fade In (.fadein) files. It is specifically designed to work with the unique interface and capabilities of your mobile device.

It takes care of proper script formatting, including standard script styles, and provides tools for quickly selecting character and location names, and for efficiently navigating your script.

This basic version of the app is intended to give you an idea of what working with the full version is like. Create scripts on your device, export them to your Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive account, and import scripts as read-only.

Upgrade to the full, paid version of Fade In Mobile to import your work from the full or demo desktop version of Fade In Professional Screenwriting Software (including imported PDF and Final Draft scripts).

When upgrading to the full version, first export your work to your Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive account, or to your device. Note that this free version allows read-only import.

5 ★I liked the software. The low score is because of the REQUIRED Dropbox account. Under no circumstances will I put Dropbox on any of my devices again. Uninstalled Fade in Mobile. ----- Update 2019: Gave Fade In a try in 2018. It offers several features that were lacking in my other (Windows) screen writing package, Script Studio. Now this latest Android version seems to work well for my uses and I now have Fade In on my Windows machines, and the full mobile app on Android devices. Upping stars from 2 to 5. Good work by the developer.

1 ★Excellent software that requires terrible software. Fade In cannot open a file that's in your phone or tablet. You must use dropbox in order to access your files. This means it requires the internet just to access your files. How come in the 21st century you can't just open a file? This oversight makes an elegant software worthless if you can't open your files. If you couldn't tell...I want to open my files!

1 ★I cant export scripts. It shows network connection error...

4 ★Great desktop screenwriting tool but mobile app needs polish. Scene selection has a significant delay on my LG G3. Using letters for script element selection is confusing, prefer icons. Lack of export feature means it's a pure companion app for the desktop version hence cannot effectively be used on its own. Overall a good start but needs to improve to be really useful. Edit 12/11/14: Scene selection now runs without any noticeable delay. Whole app seems a lot snappier. Purchased Pro version now. Revised to 4 stars.

3 ★Using Nexus 7 (2013). App appears very unstable and repeatedly hangs. Sadly not useable in this state.

4 ★I have Fade In on my PC and now I can take it mobile with me on my tablet.

5 ★The App works just fine folks. The only problems that I see, have to do with the network connections you might have. Make sure you have a good connection to 3G/4G or a very strong WI-FI

1 ★On top of having two icons in my app menu, which is annoying, immediately upon opening the application it closes again and says it's stopped working. It's too bad, this was a nice alternative but now that celtx is free I guess it's a moot point.
