‡ Note that for a PDF file to import it must contain the text of the script, not just pictures of the text. Some PDFs contain scanned images of the text rather than the text itself, and the app can't import these files as it needs the actual text to work with.

Download Script Rehearser APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings

- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK

- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

3 ★I can't comment on rehearsing scripts (I haven't used it for that), but version 4.1.87 is not very useful for rehearsing speeches, despite what the blurb says. There is also no in-built Help, nor a PDF (or similar) User's Guide, so not always clear how to best to use it. And lastly, it can't even load scripts from an external SD card! :-( On the other hand, the author is very responsive and helpful, so there is hope for the future!
4 ★I love this app, and it's great for rehearsing. I practice voice acting on this often. However, it would be very, very helpful if we could adjust the volume of our recordings. When I record my part of the script, it is significantly quieter than the prerecorded acting voice. In addition, I would love if there were a download option where you could download the recordings (including the prerecorded counterpart) combined into a file: creating a mp3 file I could sumbit for future purposes.
5 ★Really good free app. You need to make sure your PDF/Word doc is well formatted, but it's easy to correct if you spot errors. You can set each character's gender, pitch and speed, and record your character. Good for learning whilst driving if you set it to read on after pausing as you don't need to touch phone. I was easily first of the main characters in my play to learn my lines, which for a bloke in his late 50s working with a group of much younger people was a bit surprising!
5 ★great app, helped me to memorize my script. very useful, user-friendly app. English is my second language, but I figured out how to use it very quickly. Also this app have voice reader even on my language (Russian) so I prepared my self very well because of this app. Thank you.
4 ★love the app, i have two feature requests that wpuld make this 5 star. First, I'd like the ability to hide lines individually so they are ignored entitely. for example, im performing Shakespeare and we do a cut. i should be able to have the app ignore libes for playback rather than me deleting the Iines. Thay way if i ever do that show again, i can unhide them instead of retyping or importing a new script. the second would be to treat atage directions and notes as separate items during playback.
5 ★This app is fantastic, yes it can take a bit of effort to get your script read correctly and then sort out speeds of voice play back etc but the learning curve is easy and even easier with the now in built tutorial. Amazing app for learning lines for shows. Play back in the car, on the move and at home. Be line perfect in a lot less time then usual. Keep up the great work.
5 ★Perfect for those times when you need to learn lines and no one is around to help, or even if they are its great to just have it handy to run through lines.
5 ★I love this APP, I have four scripts to learn in 7 days for a TIE tour. One hour after loading and recording and I nearly know half of my lines for one of the scripts! So much better than recording each of them on my phone and saying each line myself Or; even worse, nearing the end of recording a scene and someone walks into the room talking so you have to record it alllllllll again 😂😂😂
5 ★I love it! I'm an auditory learner so have always had to rely on someone helping me learn lines. These days, with this app my lines are so solid - I can practice anytime, whilst doing other stuff like washing up! And glitches that used to be there ironed out now,. Thanks so much!
5 ★As a musician for a show w music ("Four Women") Script Rehearser was JUST what I needed to commit my parts memory. I recorded all the line cues and my corresponding music parts. Next I just listened to it over and over, and it really helped cement the show in my memory. I can't recommend this app highly enough ... I'm very happy I found it.
5 ★It's incredibly useful for anyone who is rehearsing or trying out for apart .I love it you can listen to your reading and be your best critic love it for any aspiring actor or any one just trying to remember a few lines for the school play this is the perfect app .real easy to load new or different scripts into it you can even use it to write your own or change the lines of a script your reading
4 ★it's a great app, and i have learned my lines in such a more efficient way than usual. one negative point though, it uses the google text to speech engine, and i have to learn my lines in french this time. after configuring the google txt tot speech in french, this app still tall to me in english ....
