Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Overall the experience is pretty good, but I am frustrated that there is no picture in picture. At least, it doesn't work. There's a toggle in the App Info in Android Settings, but even allowed it doesn't work. The icon also doesn't support the dynamic theming available on a variety of phones or launchers. It's frustrating to see great apps lacking smaller details, but otherwise a great experience.
1 ★New design is a huge step backwards .... Burying the Channels under explore is absolutely counterintuitive and hugely irritating. If the intent is to help accelerate the death of linear TV and programmatic viewing then take a bow.. this new version helps that ...just remember, you are not nor should you even try to be Netflix ..know your own value prop and segment
3 ★Hi, Please can you make it easier to find "My Programs"/Watchlist on the mobile app for phones? It's not easier to find & is significantly more difficult than other streaming providers! Additionally, is picture in picture available? Overall, I think a redesign of the app to make the user interface far easier & more accessible is required.
1 ★Latest update 9th October 2023 is a retrostep backwards, terrible to use, frustrating to navigate through. The previous version was 5*, easy and intuitive to use. If it ain't broken don't fix it, why follow the herd and make the iPlayer like the other dumbed down TV apps that want to throw suggestions at you as apposed intellect based selection and searching?
4 ★Good app , I've no complaints 👌 the only thing I can think that I would like to improve is more of the old stuff, especially the old style comedy from the 70 s and early 80 s !! I love all that 70 s stuff!! But there is not enough of it on the Telly now adeys 🫤
1 ★Hate the last update, extremely irritating and counterintuitive. Nothing seems to be ok, previous version was perfectly fine and you're fixing what ain't broken.
4 ★Absolutely unique, I get to watch my favourite shows. Sometimes, they do tend to cut off scenes from videos and channels but overall, this is 4 out of 5.
1 ★How about allowing reminders for TV guide? If a program hasn't been shown yet you can't save or add to a list. U/D still no options to save programs for later watching or ability to get reminders of up and coming programs. You can do a sort of reminder on the website but, really who is going to keep a webpage open just for that? Go figure🤔? In the TV guide, you can't even view a synopsis of the program coming up, so you don't know whether it's worth coming back to watch it.
1 ★Chromecast doesn't work - No option to cast to TV. Tried all the troubleshooting online and nothing has worked, every other app I've got has no issues whatsoever casting to my TV.
3 ★Decent app generally with 2 very annoying issues when using a Chromecast. Firstly autoplay doesn't work. So you have to go back, find the programme in continue watching and play from there or search for the series again. Secondly, if your toddler wants to watch the same episode again, you have to change episode and then come back to be able to watch it. I contacted iPlayer support and apparently this is expected behaviour so they know and think that's fine. Not great
2 ★Okay it does all you would expect of such an app, however everything is just that bit clunky, needs a few more clicks than needed, some counterintuitive elements. Work on the user interface and experience and this would be great. Now says I'm signed out and in a seemingly endless loop of signing in, ok, you need to sign in,sign-in, okay, you need to sign-in...
1 ★Dunno what has happened on the last update, iplayer won't load on my tv. From my mobile I can no longer cast to the tv either. It won't find device, is definately on same network and I can cast ok from others.
