3 ★It works but could be a lot better. Can't make changes to any orders which you can at the till. Add one item at a time, for example adding kids drinks you click add, then click to go back and need to click add again. It involves three or four clicks to do anything,so if you have a large family takes forever. It shouldn't be this hard, wonder if the developers actually user test it? Since my last review above, they've had a year to update the app which is disappointing.
1 ★The app is quite poor and there are zero options for allergies or the removal of items of food. Whilst in the middle of returning to normal we cannot approach the till to ask for food removed so we had to wait for someone to see that we were in need of assistance.. which took 50 minutes during a very quiet breakfast hour they had.
4 ★✅ Guest ales can now be ordered through the app. ✅ Pub specific special offers 'Manager's Specials', can now be ordered through the App. ✅ Shandies, tops, dashes and halves can be easily ordered through the app. Plus food deals that include a drink. ❌ One of my only gripes is on some occasions - during trading hours - the app displays 'no menus available'. Considering current legislation/policy requires table service, this is a bit of a inappropriate time for the app to be having tech issues.
1 ★No option to edit anything in your basket. Just a simple edit button or notes section would help. Dining with someone who wants something taken off the meal but its impossible to do. Ask staff and get told table service only but when noone is coming to your table what else are you supposed to do?
1 ★Not happy. I ordered 2 pints and received 4. The system said it did not process it the first time so I repeated it. The beehive pub in Brixton would not take the beers back. Me and my friend could not drink the other 2 pints. So we left them.
3 ★The Weatherspoons in Newquay could do with door staff all week. They had door staff today and it was easier getting in. The staff seem rushed of their feet, while we are in this pretend lockdown. On Tuesday, 25th May, there was no food because of a technical issue; I.e., no chefs probably. Other than not going to the bar and sitting down most of the time, it seems almost normal. Weatherspoons App is good though, except the staff today, Friday are having trouble with keeping up with the drinks
1 ★Payment system as much use as a chocolate teapot. Shame that app programmers dont have english language as their first language. Or maybe they should have just paid more attention at school. God save us from youngsters who cannot give instructions that are comprehensible
5 ★Does the job. Not too different from Just Eat's app. Service isn't always quicker depending on how busy it is, usually it seems people waiting at the bar take priority over taking drinks to tables. Wait time on food is no different though. No technical issues personally but the same can't be said for everyone.
5 ★Amazing place,such wonderful and friendly staff members. Very fast serving time,you won't need to wait for your food or drinks. The prices are also amazing. I have tried a few dishes and the food was great. I see people saying that it could be better,well the pub is great,you can't expect more.surelly every single one of them works hard enough to make everyone happy. TOTTALY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE Thank you!
5 ★The app itself is good..quicker, easy to use and efficient. However, have been to three different Wetherspoons in a week and every single time, service VERY slow, waiting quite a long time just for drinks and even longer for food. The only bonus was the staff...friendly, polite and professional. Don't know if there is a delay with the app getting the orders through or something else. Come on guys! Get it together and sort this out!!
3 ★Lovely pub,ordered food and drinks, service ok but not as good as used to be, even with restrictions with covid should be better, had a mixed grill and just seem like dumped on the plate used to get butter with jacket potato on the side but No butter. Nice pub but need to keep standards up
3 ★While looking at the app at home 4 miles away to see how it works I went through the process. I then dropped my phone on the sofa and my 6 year old grandchild picked it up and gave it to me. Only then I he had ordered a drink in a witherspoon miles away for table 1 and had paid for it. How should that be able to happen ?
