A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★The app is cool definitely unlocks and locks the door as well as control all the lights except barroom where I live. It also control the thermostat I love that. My issue is my girl has a newer iPhone and it has waaaay more features and I have Galaxy Note. So Dwello when do you plan on stepping yall game up and making all the features for Android as I have no plans in life on switching back to Apple ever
1 ★THIS REVIEW IS FACTS, NOT OPINIONS: intermittently having issues with getting the app to function. this includes lights, fans, door lock, and thermostat. this happens regardless of being connected to my gigabit google fiber or my 4G LTE. several occasions I've found myself having to rely on my door key because the door wont unlock via dwelo.
1 ★Hasn't worked since day 1. Not a single feature. Tech support is slow (days between replies) and unable to provide anything besides suggesting to unplug and retry plugging it in. Scheduling someone to come service the unit, earliest available puts it at just 1 day under 3 weeks w/o resolution. THESE FOLKS ARE THE WALMART CUSTOMER SERVICE OF TECH.
1 ★The Raspberri Pi they used doesn't keep up. You can leave your door unlocked if you just look at the app and don't listen for the sound etc because it takes about 4 taps to register with the lock. It's a great concept but not ready for production.
1 ★Hot garbage. Moved into an apartment complex that just got this installed. I SHOULD be able to just generate a door code at will, then give to people at my leisure, but instead the company wants you to give them the recipient's email address so they can send the code thenselves and, no doubt, market to them. Also doesnt fully integrate with Google Home. I can turn the lights on and off, but cant unlock the door.
4 ★So far it seems to work, even though this has to be the most basic "smart home" app I have ever seen. The user interface harkens back to the last decade. Also, the door lock is rather noisy compared to others. The important part is that it works.
1 ★Super glitchy app. Spent all day worrying that my house had been broken into (door was unlocked, lights turning on and off) only to get home and find that absolutely nothing was wrong. This is supposed to be for peace of mind, and it's causing more stress than before.
1 ★Every time I try to raise or lower the temperature it kicks me out of the app. And logs me out. Every single time. Edit: it doesn't kick me out anymore, but now it just stops working even though the light on the hub is green. I cry every time.
5 ★UPDATE REVIEW FROM 1 TO 5 STARS I left a negative review and received a phone call from Dwelo. Ary was very helpful in pinpointing the issue and helping with the resolution. She also explained they are working on an update to fix some of the issues but was able to get quicker resolution for me by sending out an updated hub. She was so kind and helpful and apologetic and it immediately changed my view of this company!!
1 ★For some reason, functionality rarely and inconsistently works. Interoperability with Google Home is also very poor. Works so rarely, I just stop wasting my time with the "smart" features and only use the "dumb" features, i.e. regular light switches.
5 ★We got an updated hub and it is working great! We have a 3 floor townhome and it is very helpful to be able to control the lights and thermostat...also to be able to turn the lights on b4 you get home!
3 ★Usually like it. However code has never worked to unlock door. And now the app comes up as "error". None of the troubleshooting says what to do, and the app is not an option on the customer support site.
