You can then use any kind of messenger you like (SMS, Google Talk, WhatsApp, facebook...) and simply paste from clipboard into your message body and send it to your friend.
On the other side, your friend copies the message body he/she receives into clipboard and simply hit the "Get My Friend Location From Clipboard" button in the application. He/she can then get directions on Google Map and come to you. The key features are:
