2 ★Better than the OEM app but, you can't download videos or save pictures. You have to record a video and share it using an email or messaging app, and if you don't time it just rights the recording fails. If your Internet isn't perfect, the app will timeout before loading the camera (after like 30 seconds). Feedback request has been in "processing" for 2 years. So, safe to say neither of these issues will change.
1 ★I bought this system with multiple cameras in July 2022 and install them on my property and this is some worked fantastically. The pictures were good the video was pretty good and it was very responsive. Then they changed the whole system. Now you got to subscribe for every feature at a different price. I've subscribed and I still can't get video All I get is a lousy photo. This system sucks
2 ★This app used to work well with zero problems, but since the new updates my cameras no longer allow for a live view. As others have mentioned there is also no way to clear messages any longer...but overall I'm more concerned by not having a live feed option. Update 8/5/23- Still no live feed, battery runs out quicker than it used to even with the same settings, and it is not picking up most motion any longer. Customer service has never responded to me. What's the point of having it?
1 ★This app was great, but then I purchased the advance AI movement detection, which was big mistake. With the AI it picks up movement outside of the configured detection area (that worked well enough without the AI), and the number of false alerts otherwise has actually increased. To compound how frustrating that is, I find I can't now remove the AI until the subscription period ends.
1 ★The app has never been great - but over the last several months it's horrible. I pay for cloud service and my motion videos rarely upload. Just today checked my notifications and it hasn't recorded any motion since July 22nd - which there has been plenty of motion on my side yard. I have the camera there to test functionality before using it in an area more pressing. The fact I'm paying for the service and it's still horrible is a ripoff.
1 ★I've had this mubview camera for months and now suddenly it's having network issues. Originally had the mubview app before they said to use this as it's "better". First it dropped the network and after attempting a dozen times to reactivate, now it can't "establish encrypted channel". The light it green now but I can't view the video? And customer support basically just tells me to turn it off and then turn it back on.
3 ★Overall they've improved the app significantly, I changed my rating from 2 to a 3.9 STARS ⭐⭐⭐✨. But it doesn't change the fact that my friends car is still stolen. Please look at the first rating to see how they were. Do I get return this equipment and get my money back. Useless!!! My friends car was stolen, it is clearly visible on my camera,and i cannot get the video to play!!! How you can sell this junk. My internet NOWADAYS is running at 297mbps download and 89 Mbps upload.
3 ★It's not a horrible app like the latest reviews state. It does what it is suppose to, sends me alerts very quickly, I can view live video, I can tilt & pan no problem, all the functions seem to work well for me. At times it is definitely a little sluggish, but it does do what it's supposed to do.
2 ★Works fine on the phone. Too many notifications. Absolutely does not work with Alexa. Was really hoping to connect these cameras with my Alexa devices. The skill is there, but it does not work. The notification options are not good, and somewhat confusing. Need an option to temporarily snooze when you know there will be people in front of the camera. Could be much better.
1 ★Bad app, keeps getting worse. Biggest gripe: no way to download and manage app from laptop. Second biggest gripe: This app is ruining my phone. Downloaded Jan 2020 and app has been running in background ever since. Battery drain is so severe that I must keep the phone plugged in for majority of day and phone regularly dies on me. Since yesterday's update, with each motion detection I get two notifications - the regular detection notification and one labeled "tip - you have received a notification." I'd love to know what the developers were thinking with this! There are other issues with the app/device as well such as lack of volume control for the recorder/speaker, and there doesn't seem to be any way to permanently save the motion activated pictures to the phone other than screenshot. Please fix this app.
2 ★(Update 6-17-23) Still no improvement. Now the app crashes after a few images are viewed. Still can't just scroll to see the images. You have to click to open, click out and then click the next picture. The red notification dot still never goes away, even after I have viewed all the images. Please put the original message viewing features back. Also, I don't get notifications that my battery is low. Two of my cameras died completely before I realized they weren't recording any more.
1 ★Cameras work fine, it's the app that has been having issues. At least once a week the live feed stops working. Every time I try to open the live video it says "connection lost" & "failed to open video" it's frustrating especially when you get a notification when it detected movement and or you just want to check the cameras, but the app doesn't work!! I have to uninstall and reinstall the app, set it up again for the live feed to work, after it'll work fine, within days same problem with occur.
