1 ★We are paying for the premium membership and have 3 children that are linked to our account. It works as far as schedule blocking. The major issue is trying to block certain apps. It only shows apps for one of our children. We have contacted customer support more than 4 times and no response back. I would like to keep app if we can get this resolved. We have android systems. Please contact us or respond to this review. This is my last ditch effort.
2 ★I have an LG Android phone, and my daughter has an IPhone 6. The app was fantastic for a few weeks, now it seems to have lost contact with her phone in the last week. There are no apps in the app list, which is the only thing I use, and I still am not able to install the other part of the app on her phone to get use of the premium abilities I am paying for. I could stand waiting for them to fix the OurPact Jr. issue if the rest was working...
3 ★The app is good when it is working. Not very user friendly though. Nearly impossible to take a device out easily. Kicks a device out and impossible to reactivate it. Can't see text function and who is texting back and forth.
1 ★Requires significant payment. Nothing really available for free or the small monthly payment.
5 ★Hands down the best parental controls. Being able to control remotely is invaluable. It's an intuitive, no nonsense app with immediate communication from customer service if needed. Loyal subscriber since 2017. It's gotten me through one teen and another to go;)
3 ★At first I loved the app. It was great for screen time however, we paid for the full subscription and I was very unhappy when I had the filter on to block explicit content and when looking through my childs history, she accessed inappropriate content. We are going to try to go with google family link which is free and see if we can get better blocking.
1 ★I wanted so much to like this app but trying to set up on the apple ios has been ridiculous up to the point that I decided it was not worth my time. You need to do it on computee, back up, restore, back up again, restore...Then trying to uninstall it make me hate it even more again need to back up, restore, go to itunes - after an hour stuffing around i cant install nor unistall it. They definitely are not making it easy and I wonder how many people does exactly what I did - cancelling the trial subscription before even trying it. Waste of my time. I wouldnt recommend it unless if you have heaps time on your hand.
3 ★Working great, but I discovered that my son can make a guest user even when the phone is blocked. This meant a series of emails to ourpact, but their replies were hard to understand. I took the phone and their emails to my provider, tesco. After one and a half hours of searching on Google, the helpful tesco mobile employee realised the only solution was to reset the phone, make me the main user and then add my son as another user. This has fixed the problem.
4 ★Great app but... I love mostly everything about this app, however, I have a few problems with it. Eventhough you can block most apps, you're not able to block SETTINGS which kids can use to turn off access to their phone from this app (please do something about this). Other than that and one more thing I can't think of at the moment I love this app!
2 ★When I first found this app I thought the features were some of the best I'd seen for only $7 a month. I was very disappointed, though, after we had it for a few days and my daughter's phone kept rejecting the app. I would literally have her phone in my hand and within 5 minutes of reinstalling the app I would get a message that said her phone wasn't protected. Customer service was as helpful as they could be but we had to get rid of it after trying unsuccessfully to get it to work.
3 ★I'm still evaluating this app but I noticed that it won't give me app usage statistic per child. Also manually blocking/unblocking works but I'm not sure the daily limit actually works properly. I gave the phone to my child this morning and he spent some time on the applications I marked as time allowance consuming apps, then he stopped playing and his allowance kept going down. It appears your child needs to manually open his jr. App and pause the allowance counter. This should be fixed.
1 ★OurPact was great for awhile. Recently it doesn't track my son, and anything that is to be blocked isn't blocked at all on his phone. The times his phone is to be in "blocked" mode it isn't at all. I've been paying for this app and it just keeps getting worse by the day. If it were to be fixed it would be worth it. But right now it's like flushing my money down the toilet.
