5 ★Functionality works as expected. I can control what my kid uses the internet for. I can also easily make exceptions as and when needed. I will strongly recommend this app.
1 ★Bought the premium 1 year. When it works it's great. But often it just... loses the premium service. App has to be reinstalled. Doesn't work. Since i have a nighthawk router i have to go through netgear support. Factory reset, no good. Absolute nightmare. Multiple calls. On hold for an hour. Getting passed around from person to person with no resolution. Do not buy.
1 ★Before I was able to give time to my kids and program a schedule for using the phone app. But, now it is failing. It is not working anymore it is sucks. I'm paying monthly payments plan and is not working
2 ★I like the concept a lot and have been making use for a.while now but I do feel the subscription cost is expensive £46 a year and it doesn't always work as it should. It's a shame.
1 ★Awful user interface and integration with the hardware. Constantly drops out, fails to load and blocks stuff randomly too. Really disappointing.
1 ★Forced to use this program on a router that said it controlled connected devices and times. Nope, only this software does and it's.expensive. Won't be buying and will be returning the router. Cheaper and better options available.
3 ★When everything works, the app is good. However, have yet to make it a whole week without some sort of problem(5 months now). App also only tracks history for 24 hours it seems. I keep paying the monthly subscription because I've lowered my expectations since there isn't another option that interfaces with netgear. When everything works as it should, the app is good. In my experience, this is less than 50% of the time.
5 ★I really like this system and app so far. The ability to set bedtimes and off-times is excellent, the ability to filter content and websites for family members is excellent, and the ability to see history and filtered websites is great. Yes, it can be overwhelming to have so many devices in the list, but if you identify as many as you can right from the jump and assign them to their users, it's much more manageable. Occasionally the history feature will fall behind or require some time to show up correctly, but that's a pretty minor complaint when all the major functions work consistently. Overall this app has made it a lot easier to manage device usage time for kids.
2 ★Not consistent. Paused all the devices in the house yet kids still able to use the internet. I even paused their Internet via Nighthawk and still able to use internet...
3 ★Had to uninstall app as it did not recognize local timezone making "bedtime" mid afternoon. Then long delays in getting text password when app re-installed.
1 ★Pretty useless. Paying $50 a year to be frustrated. Even with the premium options I still can't get the bedtimes to work, the pause doesn't work, time limits.. nothing. I had all the devices that are the kids in front of me and I was hitting pause and they all continued playing. I really, really don't like the fact that the app only works if you're connected to the wifi. If it is working properly and I leave the house with a device locked then oh well. Got to wait till I come home then. Dumb.
1 ★Horrible, it just doesn't work and they can't (won't)help you. If you have a Netgear mesh router with satellites, look somewhere else because it won't work. On the phone for an hour with them and they had no idea why I was paying for a subscription that didn't work. I asked for a refund and I was told to go to Google for it. Downloaded Qustodio parental controls app and it works perfect.
