Description

Meet Pocket Library. Your companion to keep track of your personal library.

Catalog books on your phone real fast with barcode scanning, book search and ISBN search. Use search and filters to find books that you’ve lent to your friends or books that you’re yet to read. Use backups to keep your book catalog safe.

Organize your book collection
This app is for all the bookworms who want to keep their personal library organized and neat. It’s also for the ones who’ve ever picked up a book and wondered “Do I already have a copy of this one?”. Get in control and manage your books now with Pocket Library!

Quickly add books into your book collection with an ISBN scanner
We understand that it’s tough to sit and punch in all your books into an app. But book cataloging shouldn’t be all that tedious. Use our ISBN scanner to quickly scan books into your book catalog. We will fetch you the details along with the book cover and a book summary as well. Our scanner looks up a host of online book lists to ensure that your cataloging goes through without any hiccups.

Batch Scan to add several books without interruptions
Even with a barcode scanner, organizing books can be a daunting task when you first start out - a pile of books in front of you to scan, and the app takes you through screen after screen to get a single book added. Try our Batch Scan - pile up your books, take the scanner and go all guns blazing - bam! bam! bam! to scan books one after the other without any interruptions.

Search and find your books online
For times when you need to add books into your book catalog but don’t have them handy, you can use our book search. Search for titles or authors and tap on the results to add books to your book list. You can also shop for the book from the search results.

Find the next book you want to read
Use search when you’re hunting for something new to read - search, add, read book summaries and shop to get your next book. Go ahead and expand your home library!

Swiftly find books with Filters and Search
While adding a book to your book list, you can mark stuff like who you’ve lent the book to, whether you’ve read the book or not and you can even add it to your favorites. The next time you’re at a bookstore and you’re unsure of whether you have a book or not, use our search and filters to answer that real quick.

Keep your catalog safe with Backups
We know that your book collection is invaluable - and so should be your book catalog. Backup your book catalog into your phone and keep it safe when you need to format your phone, or when you uninstall apps. Restore the backup once you’re set.

Content that is clean and organized
We understand how much time you take to get your bookshelf organized. We have tried to apply the same meticulousness in how a book’s details are displayed - organized and clean. For books that have been looked up from Amazon, find the shop icon in the action bar of the book details page.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★This app was great for the first day. I quickly, easily, and efficientlybuilt my library and had it all categorized with very little error otdifficulty. After about 150 books, the app shut down and refused to open.To this day, the app will not open and I cannot access my library. I wouldlove if this issue could be resolved soon so I may finish my work.
3 ★This app is ok, but needs improvement. First, it cannot parse leadingarticles, so if you want to organize your library by title, there are goingto be plenty of "A's" and "the's" messing it up. Second, it doesn't parselast names of authors well. Louis Althusser should be at the top of my listwhen I organize by author's name, not in the "L's". If the app is usingfirst names, then what's going on here? Finally, I wish there were some wayto link to a local or independent bookseller instead of Amazon.
4 ★So far so good, would be great if I could add more categories like a wantlist. Hopefully if I back up the books on this phone and I have to reset myphone it reads it's own backup file unlike other apps
4 ★This works really inputting the ISBN numbers, or even titles of olderbooks. If you've got a lot of books, and you want them catalogued, thiscould keep you busy. I wonder how well it might integrate with otherlibrary cataloguing systems, but I haven't got as far to check that out yet.
4 ★Love how quick it is to add books and the cover art icons are great, sinceI tend to remember what a book looks like more readily than the author'sname. Please add customizable categories/bookshelf options.
4 ★Entering books is a breeze & I love all the info it autofills! Superfast!!! I do wish they had a "checkout/return" feature so I could quicklyscan and keep track of books that my students/friends borrow.
4 ★Does this app have a feature that notifies me of duplicate books, or booksI already own? I don't want to scan a book twice or purchase two of thesame books.
5 ★I love how easy it is to input ISBN and capture barcodes. Is there a meansto export information in Excel format?
3 ★I like this app compared to a different one I'm using at the moment. However, sorting by author should be based on last name, not first name.
4 ★The app is pretty good but need book category settings
5 ★This app is easy to use & with latest updates you can edit images of books& sort by author. Brilliant.
4 ★When sorted by author, it should be sorted by author's surname, not by thename
