4 ★Its awesome but there is no option to search by name the file we want to upload to the library. I hope you guys will work on that.
4 ★I have used Aldkko before for netgalley and it's been good. I would have liked it more if there were more features. I would have used some other app but because of DRM protected books, I am using this app. I hope to add more features. pages sometimes don't flip the first time, so have to click more than once. these problems should be removed.
3 ★I've been using this app for years now. Aldiko is easy to used, simple and very neat. I can customize my favorite book etc. but, when there is a picture in a book, that's when it started to annoyed me. I can't zoom in, or save the picture. It irks me. maybe in the future your users are free to save or zoom?
5 ★I like the page numbering algorithm, independent of font type and size! The page number will be the same across different devices regardless of screen size, font size, font types. It would be perfect if the pop up menu is customizable. I would like the Share option appear in the pop up without clicking ... and it should be allowed to share with Google Maps or Chrome as often during reading I like to research some item further.
3 ★Its a fine ebook app, but I dont know what makes it special or particularly good. When you zoom in and change pages, it doesnt take you to the top of the next page zoomed in which is a pain for pdfs. The audio reader is currently not good enough to justify paying for. i found it would skip sentences or be unable to function for both pdf and epub, which are the majority of books. I will probably keep looking eventually for a better app.
1 ★I've used Aldiko for years. I went back into it today, and it keeps kicking me out after showing my library. Saying "Your session has expired," and then goes back to the login screen. If you now only let paid subscribers access the app, at least give me a chance to get in and get my books to read on a different app.
3 ★Aldiko lost it. Brightness still goes auto randomly and they can't be bothered to leave it on. Instructions to turn it off is confusing since they refer to either rubbing the left edge of the device (it.. turns the page) or hit settings in the main window which just suows books, collections , and oh, make sure to let you know that you can buy this book. Aldiko. Turn off auto brightness by default.
3 ★Having a brightness issue in read mode like other users where the screen gets way too dim and overrides system settings. The menu slider and the left swipe gesture don't have any effect. Checking the auto box will turn it up temporarily (all the way I think), but then it will get dim again when I continue reading. Force stop and clearing cache hasn't helped. This problem occurs for both epub and pdf files. Very disappointing, because this is otherwise a solid app.
1 ★The best thing about it is th free download 😑 I downloaded this app to read books provided by Penguin Random House's First to Read program. I'm not 100% certain of the app is the problem or if the book format itself is. I cannot change any settings to make a difference and the font is so small that I can hardly read it. I would've given at least a 2 star but you can't even ask for assistance because that page is no longer available and their website is "under construction". Pretty disappointing
5 ★This is the best book reader app you'll ever find. You can use it for whatever electronic format you have. Kudos to the programmers.
1 ★I paid for the original. You dumped it, and it quit working. I will not pay $1/month for something I already bought. I liked your app, but you got greedy and screwed your existing customers. . . Last year you told Fred Schmid that Classic Premium would work as an unlock key for 4.0 Premium. Is this true, and how does it work? I've had both installed with no unlock.
