4 ★This app works great on Oreo. After moving to Android Pie on the OnePlus 6 I no longer receive notifications for WhatsApp or Allo. I am not sure if it's a pie issue or a app issue. I've tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling clearing cache a checking permissions still can't receive even a notification. Paid for the full version thinking maybe that was it. Any help or ideas?
5 ★This app works great. What people don't understand about it is that you have to have your default texting app (I use Textra) on your phone as well to receive messages through Wear Messages. Once I figured that out it worked just fine. Although, I will say that this wasn't explained with the app, I had to figure it out by trial and error.
1 ★This app breaks your smart watch! For God's sake don't install it! I used to get push notifications on my watch when I got a WhatsApp message, I downloaded this app so I could read the entire message and it worked fine for a week or two, then it stopped working but also stopped the push notifications coming through too. This is the whole reason I bought a smart watch, so I could read messages without having to get out my phone and this app ruined it, so that's a £200 watch trashed by this app.
3 ★Although the app "works", when it sends a text message no other app or even itself remembers that it's been sent. It's as if it's deleted after being sent. If you can fix that, it's worth 5 stars but in its current state it's not worth using sadly
3 ★Nice looking app, but never reliably works on any of my watches, & I paid for premium. Some messages have a pretty big delay from when received to when they show up on the watch. Replying from watch works sometimes, but usually says "phone not responding", but it may then send it after about 30 seconds. Tried on a handful of watches, & a couple of different phones. App looks great & is great for looking up past sms messages. Developer was responsive & attempted to help, just couldn't replicate
3 ★I like this app, as its the first one that allows me to send messages from my fossil gen 5. I did have a 5 star but reducing to 3 stars Now (Will up to 4 when the message failed is fixed) BECAUSE of: 1) A annoying sometimes like half the time, I get a message failed message. Which is really annoying i then need to switch to my phone to send that message, then it syncs again and will send the next time. 2)Also if my phone is switched off but my watch is on and connected to wifi, I want to be able to send messages without the phone being synced to blue tooth.
1 ★since recent upgrade I have not received text messages nor phone calls or voicemail alerts to my fossil smartwatch; only receive emails and calendar notifications... sooooooooo disappointed upgrades disable many of the functions I enjoy and enhance my daily activities. !!!!UPDATE!!!! I have uninstalled and re installed three times as well as communicated with app support. I've received one email requesting system information and replied. No reply from support. No texts to my watch continues:(
1 ★This app is useless. I've been using Messages by Google long before I purchased this watch. Once I purchased, I downloaded the app and it worked fine. With this new overhaul update I receive a notification that I must give permission to Messages app to access sms, phone and contacts, which I have and it's still not working. Making us purchase a full version this app after paying hundreds of dollars for the watch is a SCAM. Apple doesn't do this ans I should be able to use the app of my choice.
5 ★Paid for the upgraded version and phone is saying to uninstall as it is infected.... Please update so I can reinstall Edit: I have sinse heard back from the developers and the bug/issue has been fixed. Had a very professional and detailed response from them. My only wish now is that I can send WhatsApp messages being initiated by myself and not just replies which is currently the only option
2 ★I bought the full version on my Samsung S7 running Android 7 and downloaded the app onto my Huawei Watch 2 (LTE). Other than being able to select the various Accounts like Facebook, Google, sms, Telegram and WhatsApp on my phone which also appeared on my watch, nothing happens on the watch when I have received an incoming WhatsApp message on my phone. The sms appears over the watch but then it took a long while to load the app on my watch... what's wrong?
3 ★when it works it's fine, but it seems very flaky and prone to randomly losing connection snd sync to the phone. the settings for repairing this easily are hopeless. I've ended up having to clear storage and cache on the phone then uninstalling from both devices snd starting from scratch, sometimes it takes a few attempts to successfully do it.
1 ★so i bought the flat rates for all the apps a year ago. now i haven't used them in a while so I uninstall it then reinstalled the app because i feel updating waists storage. Now i need to buy the flat rate again! I bought it before! I'm not buying it again! I tried linking my account but it didnt work. There needs to be a restore purchases option! and this goes for all the other apps too
