Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★A potato has a better chance at connecting to the service. Don't bother wasting your time, it's probably just easier to hotspot off your phone already... Tried it on my laptop too. You're meant to have a portal open when you open a browser but it never opens even trying different browsers. Once again big tech companies fail at making basic apps function like they should, if you are a part of the development team, please find a new career, your code sucks. 16 year old kids can design better apps
1 ★Has anyone tried going around and connecting to all the Telstra Air hotspots? I have.. average speed between 50kbps and 100kbps. Can't even load any web pages, images, emails, NOTHING. That's literally the equivalent of 56k dial-up from the mid 1990's. Telstra should be sued for misleading customers. "Free unlimited WiFi access"... I don't know about you, but WiFi is usually AT LEAST 2MBIT at worst case scenario. It's a complete joke, I hope they get fined for it.
1 ★Too often WiFi will connect to a Telstra Air hotspot, but wont log in properly saying signal too low. This scenario leaves you without data since being on WiFi the phone tries to use that over mobile data, but nothing loads since youre not actually logged in due to "low signal.". This scenario plays out far more often than Telstra Air actually working properly, and is very annoying as if you stray into a hotspot zone, you just lose data access. Uninstalled, too annoying.
2 ★Twice I got a message after entering all the required data saying We experienced some technical issues... Then I had to repeat the process. 3rd time lucky I guess. Looking at the map, there does not appear to be many hot spots anyway so I will likely uninstall this app soon.
1 ★Extremely poor app. Even with the auto login turned off if it even gets a sniff of a hotspot, say drive by one, it will try and connect and then block all attempts of other wifi at home to connect until the phones wifi is turned off and on. Like others have said it is more trouble than it's worth. Uninstalling.
1 ★Installed this and tried to use it on many ocassions, especially when i ran out of data but it seemed like i needed data to connect onto this. Forever trying to connect and even when its connected, its only for a few minutes then need to log in again. Very unhappy, ended up buying more data from my provider.
1 ★I'm in range of a Telstra Air access point which I can connect to manually (it then insists on me logging in) but the app just says that I'm out of range. On the rare occasions I am in range it says the hotspot is full, every time. Not really sure what the point of this app is if it can't automate connecting to Air in even slightly adverse conditions.
1 ★I log in & won't except me its bloody RIDICULOUS doesn't matter if Simon my fone, tablet or anything else it just does not work , even had everything changed 4× still can't get in but I'm a Telstra NBN customer & I am leaving soon as my contract is up as nothing but trouble with this app , after 40+ fone calls to you lot you still can't fix it so when my net goes down I have NOTHING AT ALL & you state WE SWAP OVER TO MOBILE WHEN THE NET IS DOWN PIGS ASS you do, all you care about is the $$$$$
1 ★Similar problems to those already reported. I work away from home often and even used to arrange hotel rooms close to thses Hot spots, but don't even bother anymore. Never in range , signal low despite my room right next to the phone booth. Uninstalled on all my devices now. Disappointed and Telstra can do better, but since NBN, they've dropped the ball
1 ★typical telstra (time investment required makes poor value proposition) have used telstra air for years. worked fine until telstra decided that an invasive app should ve required; changed back end to force app use- now is very unreliable product. (using iOS/android/linux/win 10) tge app is designed to snoop on users (all your wifi usage including non telstra air sessions, and maps your location - great for telstra business strategists; of little use to end users!!) typical telstra: dont touch
1 ★Why did I even bother signing up to this POS app? Apps are meant to help out and make things easier. The way this app constantly logs you out or states you have "no internet access" would have the user mistake this app as one that has been designed by pre-schoolers and not one that has been planned, designed and tested by one of the country's major communications giants.
2 ★Half the time it doesnt connect correctly even when im within 30m from a hotspot. Telstra should scrap this pointless hybrid system that wastes everyone's time and resources, and provide unlimited data to Australia's phone services. Some New Zealand service providers give customers unlimited mobile data, so telstra should follow suit and stop giving us less whilst asking us for more money. I wouldnt recommend Telstra Air to anyone as it is unreliable, and not everyone can benefit from it.
