5 ★I have always liked White pages, but then I couldn't find it and here either someone else bought it or they changed the name. but it works the same and I like it alot. I just found something strange as I scroll down on this page. apparently White pages itself is still available although it doesn't show up in my play store. or its latest update is not compatible with my tablet. that's the only reason I can figure that it's not installed and I had to look at this one.
2 ★well I started out with 5 stars, went to 4 cause found out some results were inaccurate, now going to 3 stars cause they removed sms/text reverse lookup lol why? cant think of any reason to remove it?? so now, it's just ok, still better than white page app in my opinion, but as far as sms/text removal, again, why? **** update, I gotta go down again, to 2 stars, now can only do manuel lookup? not too big of deal, but again, why?
4 ★It works well most of the time but occasionally it gets a number wrong
5 ★This app is AWESOME. You get fairly up-to-date information. You can easily search numbers from incoming calls, or you can manually input any number. They information listed is the bare minimum, but for a free app, it is more than fair, and really, more than one should expect. I highly recommend this app to anyone looking to identify people with only a phone humber to go by. As is the norm, some numbers are unlisted, or its owner cannot be ascertained. But, in my specific experience, neither could a paid service like Whitepages provide anything more. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT APP!!!
2 ★This app USED to actually WORK. I don't know WHAT has CHANGED or WHY, but now it doesn't even recognize numbers that are in my contact list! And yes, it does have permission to access my contacts, etc... Even numbers that I have previously looked up and viewed the information on, when i look them up now, they show as "UNLISTED". In fact, EVERY NUMBER I LOOK UP SHOWS AS UNLISTED!!!!!
2 ★After a couple of days the app did not stay up and running in the background. Any incoming calls should be identified by the second ring at the most so the user has time to decide whether or not to take the call. Most of the time I just let it ring and let it go to voicemail and then afterwards I manually put the number in and check it. But by that time if it is something important or someone that I wanted to talk to, it's already too late so all in all I'd have to say I'm not too happy with the app and I will probably uninstall it.
5 ★Overall the app will identify about 20% of the callers and the other 80% come as unlisted. It does give you a location for all the calls, whether the caller is identified or not. It also has a feature that allows you to search all the major seach engines online, such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. This has helped me to identify more of the other callers, which equates to half of the calls i got, which were scam or spam calls. This is user friendly, no ads, and it takes less than 1 min to use.
4 ★so far so good" this reverse phone number app does what it says it would do” for a free app..... with the acception of some unknown phone numbers caller that are on prepaid phone's and robotics phone system" and some phone number's are unlisted and block, meaning" no reverse phone number app will not be able to give you any information that is not available !!! 👌🏼👍👍
4 ★I like it, it doesnt try to take over my call, or message apps, last one shut down my messaging, but I couldnt get into theirs easily either, this one blocks calls great, and doesnt take over ur phone, I just wish it could identify more unknown callers, but thats not your fault. I would recommend it, it does what its suppose to.
1 ★I read the reviews, they were basically 50/50. So I installed the app and I immediately went to use it. ONLY THEN, in small font, just under the description of each individual feature that I had just read the app offered, did it then read "Note: this particular function may not be available on all devices..." LOL! And let me be clear, EACH AND EVERY feature that this app offers, were not available on my Samsung Edge. The solution? I immediately uninstalled the app. And learned my lesson...
3 ★It probably would be great. But, GOOGLE now has a Policy that NO Apps are Allowed to Access your Calls,or your Contacts. Essentially making This App and other like it NOT worth having on your Mobile! The reason they are doing this is a Good one, Too many Apps Asking for too many Sensitive Permissions. However, I think it's WRONG to make Applications you Downloaded or Purchased to help Prevent Spam Calls, and to be able to look up Unknown Caller's and Identify them USELESS! I got this for that ⬇
1 ★99.9% of the time, this app does not give me the name of the caller. Also, now I have to write down the number, then enter the number manually. I already know the reason you gave for this, but really, this app is 99.9% useless. I guess I'm stupid to keep trying it and if I were smart, I would delete this app. Would give zero stars if it were possible.
