1 ★Clunky app, decent food, but the UI is terrible and the rewards points seem kind of like a cop-out, you have to spend $100 to get 1 chicken sandwich in coupons, which right no you can get 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 small fries, and 2 small drinks for 7.99. Edit: it's gotten even worse, I can't order from any restaurant because it says "an offer in your cart is not available at this restaurant" and I don't even have an offer, coupon, discount, or free item. Utterly useless.
1 ★Haven't been able to actually use any of the "offers" I'm bombarded with by push notifications, because none of them seem to be available at my "selected restaurant", no matter which location I choose. It's become a waste of space and time. Someone needs to get on their J-O-B, because based on this, I've ended up going to other restaurants! Looking at many of the reviews tells me that I'm not alone!
1 ★App doesn't always send orders to your store. Most of the deals they offer aren't deals, in fact several deals are more expensive than buying items individually. The app has improved over time but burger King in general unfortunately has not. Check your receipt at checkout, you'll notice the price per item and total does not add up at least half the time, hidden fees in app and inaccurate in store pricing is straining your customer relationship. I like your food, not the getting ripped off feel
1 ★Ordered through app. It's more expensive than Doordash. The food doesn't comes sealed. So of course we had food and drinks missing. Contacted Burger King through app and it said they only want to offer a 10 dollar coupon. So I declined and spoke with a representative about a refund, which is an option but you have to escalate the issue option. And she confirmed they don't give any refunds but they do offer coupons for reorder. Avoid this like the plague. Is a scam!!! And the food takes 2 hours!
1 ★There is no option to pay at the store. Should the store be unable to complete your order, they are unable to cancel it. You must go through customer support to try and cancel via the app. Estimate 24 to 48 hours for them to maybe refund your money. The initial response i received was that they could not refund, but here's a $5 coupon. Um, no. There needs to be better communication between BK app and it's stores.
1 ★Issues with coupons. I had a coupon, selected it made my order and was charged full price. I talked to the customer service team and was told that there was nothing they could do, and I was welcome to create another order and try the same coupon again. No guarantees it would work, but hey they would let me try again. Deleting the app after trying it once. Bad experience.
1 ★I placed an order thru the app 2 wks ago. Arrived 13 min later to find the BK was closed for the day but yet I was charged. I've emailed the bkguestrelations email address & the local franchise multiple times, received NO RESPONSE. Such a frustrating situation. Don't order thru the app unless you're already in the parking lot & see they are open (and at that point, you may as well not bother with the app, you're already there!) The app will still allow you to order even if they aren't open!
1 ★Updated for 2023. The app still has problems. Old phone was a Note, new one is a S23, OS was and is updated regularly. Other apps work well. Latest issue is something going on for a month and I have contacted their app support multiple times. It almost appears to be a fraudulent action. The issue is that orders ring up at more than double the advertised price, then apply a small discount so final total is only double the listed price. I uninstalled, cleared cache, no change. Not worth the effort
1 ★It's been said before can't cancel an order. I placed an order at a location. Went to pick it up but couldn't. The location didn't have any hamburgers. The managers excuse was the supply truck hasn't arrived. I tried to cancel order. Unsuccessful. Tried to contact tech support. Again Unsuccessful. Couldn't even pick up order at a locations with hamburgers. Eventually had to dispute charge with my bank. After about 8 or 9 days got an email from bk for a $5 dollar off coupon on a $12 dollar order
1 ★I haven't been able to complete an order for over a year now. I can add things to the cart and check out, but everytime I place the order I'm given a payment error. There is no record of me placing any order in the app, yet my bank will notify me I've been charged only to automatically refund me the next day. Any points I've accumulated from past orders have expired because I can't use them, and mobile offers are pointless when the app never works. Why have an app at all?
1 ★Absolutely awful customer service. I ordered from the wrong store in a different city that unfortunately had a similar name but didn't catch it. Find out there is no way to cancel an order once placed in the app, even calling the restaurant does nothing. Only way to cancel is to wait 24-48 hours for a bot to send you an email. Update, the bot decided I already received a refund when I had not and offered a $15 credit. I had to charge back from my bank to get a refund for food I never picked up.
1 ★We were sitting in the store, and the app was saying it was closed and we couldn't order , and it was 7:30 PM. This is the 2nd time in 2 visits we have walked out for only a partial menu at the register and an app that doesn't work. We ate someplace else again. Guess the only way to get a glimpse of the menu is through the drivethru. If it doesn't change before you can order
