Description
The most advance way to send SMS using your email account!Note : As of 2014, Gmail policy has changed and does NOT allow login by default. You will always get "Login Error". Please change this settings in 'https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps' and change it to ENABLE. See FAQ.
This is a lightweight app to quickly send mass personalized SMS (through email or manually on the phone) to contacts quickly. You basically send an email to your gmail, stating the recipients and message. The message can contain special syntax which makes it personalized.
Imagine yourself organizing an event, and all of the sudden, the time schedule needs to be pushed back for 1 hour. How will you inform all your 100+ guests ? You can do it with this app on your mobile phone.
Please note that your telco's SMS charges still apply, as SMS will be sent using your device.
How it works in brief :
- App will search your gmail for emails with subject "Bricatta_E2S"
- In those emails, it will check who (recipients) to send the SMS to and the SMS message.
- Once done, a confirmation pop-up box will appear to show the recipients, message, and total SMS count (number of SMS to be sent)
- Your confirmation is needed before sending SMS.
How to use it in brief :
- Send an email to your gmail account with the subject "Bricatta_E2S"
- Email contents must have [TO] and [MESSAGE]. E.g. [TO] John [MESSAGE] Hello there!
- Load the app and login to your gmail account.
- Wait a while for the app to login and search.
- A confirmation pop-up box will appear, stating the recipients, phone numbers, SMS message, and total SMS count
- Best that you ensure the intended recipients are correct
- Click on 'SEND' when you want to send the SMS.
- Sent SMS results will be sent to the email's sender automatically.

- Customise and personalise your SMS messages by using the special built-in syntax. See below for available syntax.
- Advance searchable recipients' name or contact group. Sending to recipient 'John' will include all names with 'John' in your contacts, like 'John King', 'John Nill'.
- Interactive display of recipients, phone numbers, SMS message, and total SMS count before sending.
- SMS sending results email automatically sent back to the email's sender when SMS sent. Will include any errors when sending SMS.
- Safety feature include user confirmation before sending SMS, customised email subject trigger text, etc
- Smart removal of duplicated phone numbers before sending SMS. This will prevent sending the same SMS to the same number.
- Smart internal archive to keep track of which emails has been processed.
- Searches emails with specific subject (customisable). Other emails ignored.
- Searches emails in the past 24 hours. Older emails ignored.
- For strategic reasons, this app only works with gmail. More info in FAQ.
- Able to manually key in the recipients and message (in the event there is no internet connection or gmail access)

[MESSAGE]
A must. Type in the message here. Include any special syntax (e.g. [_DATE]) inside the message to personalise.
[_PREFIX]
Inserts the contact's prefix into the SMS.
[_SUFFIX]
Inserts the contact's suffix into the SMS.
