A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Fix your maps. Keeps sending me to the wrong location, and is zoomed out so i see every hydrant in a 10 mile radius and cant even find the location of the call
4 ★My team and I have used the app for years, and finally decided to upgrade our subscription to include more of our members. Recently the notification structure has changed which normally wouldn't be an issue, except our data does not process in the proper format (more like a comma separated form of StandardA) So the automatic voice announcement we have installed no longer works with the notifications.
4 ★I'm only writing this review to ask the devs to remove the floating ACTIVE911 icon that appeared after the last update. Otherwise the app works fine.
2 ★Ever since the last update, Acive 911 will randomly stop while in use. Usually,(not limited to)when you click on the maps
3 ★I'm having same issues as Karen. Switched from iPhone to android. Kept same number. App loaded but not receiving alert notifications on lock screen with all settings turned on. Previous app on iPhone I received ringtones did not get any when loaded onto android. In response Admin already changed settings to Android. Still had same issue. Contacted by Active tech support and have corrected issue.
2 ★Maps don't match up. When you click "open navigation" the address seems to just be a random area. Say that call is at 123 Main street, you open navigation with opens Google maps and it will give you directions to 999 N 11th. The apps map seems to do a better job matching with the real address but that does not give you audio directions. Im not able to keep looking at my phone while responding
3 ★Issues with Android. Gives option to change ringtone for alerts but will default to the phones ringtone. Even when I change it within the app, it still keeps it set to phone default tone. Also, gives option to ring when 'do not disturb' is on but it needs to have a ring option if phone volume is on silent.
5 ★UPDATE! THANK YOU! Everything is working perfectly now! Admin was wonderful and just simply cool as hell! Thank you for making the one thing that I need in my life to work - actually work! ---------- Hello - I switch phones from an iPhone to and Android (keeping the same number). The app won't open on the Amdroid. I have given the app all permissions on the Android and I deleted the app off of the iPhone. I really need to get this up and running. Can you please help me fix this issue? Thanks
1 ★Worked perfect on iphone, not so much on Note 20 Ultra. I made the switch and since my app doesn't notify me of new ems calls. It won't refresh until I open the app myself. Very unreliable so far on Android. Our radios do not work well in our county so active911 is very important. Hoping for a fix soon.
2 ★Decent at times. Calls seem to come in late with latest update. When a call comes in, it flickers the screen bad multiple times and sometimes glitches out. They really need to get this app figured out. Last but not least with the latest update, it changed ringtones and deleted a bunch of the ringtones.
3 ★App worked great for a long time, more recently that not the app comes up with the wrong city. I have contacted the dispatch and they say it the app and how it pushes the info thru. When mapping to an address it sure helps when it's the correct city. Its basically useless as I now just Google map it. This app used to be a 5 star now 3 star at best.
2 ★Great tool! But during an update, I lost all the ringtones that came with the app. They're lost in my phone somewhere and I'm unable to change the alert tones. UPDATE: found all the ringtones in my internal storage, now how do I get them all back where they're supposed to be in active 911?
