Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Honest and accurate news. Just don't trust them with your credit card. I couldn't convert my free account to paid after multiple tries. A month later my wife surprised me with a paid upgrade but now it only works on her phone and I have no access to the paid subscription. I don't even have access to the free articles. In addition my wife can log into my paid subscription without even using my email or a password. I've tried contacting them almost a dozen times and they cannot fix it.
5 ★Well-thought-out and well-researched articles.
2 ★First, the Guardian is a reputable news organization with generally ethical journalists. They report through a progressive lens, but this should not encourage you to discount the reporting. That aside, you are now required to have an account to read articles on the app. Uninstalling, as you don't need an account to use the site in the browser, and I'll probably use a service to jump the pay wall when that changes. It's unreasonable to expect people to have an account for every news outlet.
1 ★Uninstalled due to now needing an account to use it. Absolutely no decent reason for this.
5 ★The Guardian provides quality journalism with strong investigative reporting, a vital counter to biased mainstream media like Sky News and the BBC. Its independent approach is refreshing, but more free features would make it even better. Greater accessibility would help challenge false narratives and keep the media landscape competitive.
1 ★How far it has fallen! And now their app keeps asking for a Subscription...not just to me but friends too. I guess they're getting desperate with their once proud 'We Never Use A Paywall' ethos. Definitely the paper needs a new editor, too. Tries too hard to be everything to everybody.
5 ★It's the Guardian, but without the ink on the fingers after reading. What's not to like?🙂 Recent price hike seems a bit OTT but, in spite of that, I wish that I hadn't unsubscribed. Could someone from the Guardian app please tell me how to resubscribe? Reason I need to know: other newspapers and their apps tend to be poor by comparison, especially the Torygraph. Thanks.
1 ★NIGHTMARE to use. Poor layout & presentation. CAN & MUST DO BETTER.
1 ★it now requires registration and an account to read any articles
4 ★Great app. Recommend it over most other news apps. great to be able to save articles.
