A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★I agree with all the others. I had a galaxy s6 when I got my s7 I noticed this was about they only app that didn't install. I went to install it and it said the version I had was not compatible with with my s7. So I installed the new version well IT DOES NOT WORK. If I say no to GPS or location it crashes. I wish I could give this 0 stars. Way to take a great app and make it USELESS.
1 ★Is really handy as I had it on my old phone and worked really well. Now I need either a pronto or roku to be able to use it? Ridiculous! Not happy to say the least. If you would make it compatible I would give 5 stars as I really do love it
1 ★I shouldn't have to pay for a freaking USB that connects the TV just to use my phone as a remote. Especially when this app come ore installed to the phone. I'm definitely going for an all that offers better service than making people pay for things that don't need for a cell phone remote! Think elsewhere if you're wanting a cellphone remote controller
1 ★I liked it in the beginning however now it doesnt do anything. I cant set up my remote. Before that I always had to troubleshoot to use any button other than the power button. Reset to the old system and I will come back!
1 ★I used to love this. But now it only controls Roku. It used to work on my 20 year old Toshiba, but it deleted it and won't give an option to get anything unconnected to Wi-Fi back. It won't control the Roku1 attached to it, either. Works fine on our tiny smart tv, but...basically useless now.
1 ★I was able to connect to any tv with the galaxy 5,now they keep asking about ruku. This version is not good,so if you having problems it's about the Dollar, trying to get you to buy the Pronto.
1 ★I have no problems with technology. With that being said this is a horrible app. For the life of me I could not find a way to set up my remote via IR blaster. The only options were to connect to Roku or Pronto. I want to control my regular non-smart tv and I could not find a way to do that.
1 ★Cant even use the Guide from last update. Useless app now. Pronto? What? I upgraded from a S5 to a S7 Edge. B4 I had Peel Remote & it worked great with all kinds of features, now they are talking about buying another device. I didn't have 2 buy anything I just programmed the app. WTH! What happened 2 the other Peel app? This is the only good remote on the app store but I don't want 2 purchase something else.
1 ★I used to love this app and bragged about it. Now I can't even get into it since I've upgraded to the s7. I put in my postal code, then it asks me to set up devices that I don't even have and it doesn't have the option to set up TV only. I can't even get to the TV setup. Went from a 5 star recommended app to a NO STAR warning. Congrats.
1 ★HATE IT !!!! I just upgraded from a Samsung Note3 to a Note8 and I loved this app on my Note3, used it everyday. I just downloaded it on my Note8 and I couldn't even get passed the first step. I put in my zipcode and it keeps saying "unable to get lineups" and I can't even back out of the app or anything I have to push my home button just to get out. So frustrating!!!! So neatless to say it sucks. There is absolutely no use for this app anymore!!!!
1 ★I still see that this app chooses to be payed for roku because my 9/3/16 review is the same. This app is such an annoying piece of crap. Don't waste your time. Go back to the way you had it before when I could just have an actual working remote app and NOT have to have a provider or a damn roku.
1 ★Just got a new galaxy s7 was excited to get the peel app going (had it on my s5). After some research I found the s7 has no IR capability so it doesn't function as a universal remote sadly. Who's to blame? Samsung. Bummer. Anybody want to buy an galaxy s7? Mint condish!
