Description
This is an application for using the internal infrared blaster of many modern smartphones - with the long-term aim to support most devices with infrared-remote control and their functions as possible.The format of the remotes has been designed in a very flexible way and the full layout with codes can be edited via the app and an import / export method.
Supported devices:
- Any smartphone or tablet using Android 4.4 or higher with an infrared blaster / emitter (only if the API was correctly implemented by the manufacturer, Some SONY devices are NOT supported because they can not send RAW codes!)
- Other: Xiaomi Mi4, Cubot X12, Huawei Honor 8
- LG G3, G4, G5 and newer (Some older LGs are not supported because the LG API does not support raw codes on them)
- Samsung devices with Infrared and Stock-ROM will work on Android below Kitkat too.
- HTC devices below 4.4 are supported as well but may cause problems (Contact me if you need assistance)
- Support for Medion Lifetab S7852 and S10334 and other Lenovo devices with infrared.
- If your device has infrared and does not work, please contact with additional info so i can check if support can be added.
If the device you want to control is not available send me an E-Mail request and i will try to add it into the database when i have time. Also feel free to search for working discrete Codes yourself and send them in (LIRC, Pronto Hex etc) to make my research easier and build the database faster.

- Macro mode, Buttons can send multiple IR commands in a row with one press

How to install irplus - Infrared Remote APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download irplus - Infrared Remote APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

5 ★I'm reeeeeaaaally amazed whoa. I was skeptic at first because a lot of these apps are s*** but OMG this one is SO GOOD. There are TONS of devices even my cheap chinese LED lamp. You can set up timers for buttons and even macros. The widgets are fully customizable and super useful. I'm really really happy with this app. Thank you so much.
5 ★I love how customizable this app is, especially because it lets you manually set codes for buttons, which is SUPER useful for making Arduino projects with an IR receiver. it's only got a little banner ad space on the bottom, which is perfectly fine.
5 ★Excellent. Allowed import of codes captured from Arduino for Platinum brand TV. Just need a way to allow adjustable periodic sending and resending of the "repeat last key press" code to make the volume button work smoothly and this app would then exactly mimic the original remote; currently, the repeat sending of volume up is very slow as with all other apps I have tried, which means it takes ages for the volume to respond. Don't know if android allows fast resending of codes however.
5 ★The ULTIMATE infrared blaster app. I have not found any better application to use for any IR controlled devices... my remotes mostly collect dust now. I use it for my Emerson tv, Sony sound bar and my X-Box one. like I said ultimate IR app (phone is galixy S5 active) lol I dug this phone out of my closet to use this app ;)
5 ★Spectacular crowd sourced selection of remote codes that work, very customisable, very easy to use. (obviously only for devices with infrared output). You can even make your own remote with a selection of codes for various devices all in one. Great work!! very impressed.
5 ★I tried several universal apps with limited success, until I tried yours. Right out of the box, your Generic2 for RCA worked for my 20 year old RCA RS1285 Stereo. BTW, when did stereos get renamed an audio video receiver, or AVR? Making me feel old. lol
5 ★A very capable and versatile app. the ability to add additional codes makes it unbeatable. The best feature though, widgets. I have a page of them on my home screen with often used commands of my TV, home theatre and STB. Very useful!
5 ★The only app that worked with my Samsung Smart TV! And it was the easiest to get to work as well, a very welcome surprise. None of the other well-known apps worked but this one did! The ads aren't even a nuisance in any way. Great job, dev!

5 ★Wow, after trying a few other apps I found one that works on my old stereo. It isn't very user friendly to customise, but it works! Now I can turn up/down the volume with my phones physical vol+/vol- button or the touchscreen. Added my tv too! I highly recommend.
5 ★Great IR app for my LG V20. The built-in LG remote control app works well for most equipment, but was unable to control an older Bose WaveRadio that I have. I tried a few other IR apps which were spammy, but this app worked when the others did not.
5 ★My LG DVD player's remote broke after blowing the battery, searching for a free IR app without intrusive adds I found this. It works for my product, ads are currently a tiny banner on the bottom. There are plenty of customization options.
