Castreal Universal Remote Control turns your phone into universal remote controller for various type of devices using your android smart phone that comes with IR Blaster. It is able to be used as a TV remote control, or to control media player, air con, projector, home control, switcher, camera, karaoke and audio amplifier. If you have lost your old infrared remote control this apps probably is a workaround to turn on your old machines. Many users have found this apps useful because they finally get back their remote control for their old devices.Castreal Universal Remote Control is a new apps but it comes with thousands of IR remote infra codes available for Free except some of the air conditioner features has to be paid. The infrared remote database that comes with this apps contains IR codes for many famous TV remote and aircon. You would need to do some setup to get the universal remote controller works with your device. Firstly, you need to choose the device type and the brand of your remote control then a list of model will be shown on the right. Choose the model and test with your machines. It might takes a few tries of different model to match your device. If the code set match your device then you may set it into your favorite list. The next time you open this apps, you can directly click favorite to use your favorite remote control.
Please note that there are millions of remote controls out there, the database that comes with this infrared remote control might not be 100% available for every of your devices but we are gradually adding more remote codes into the database. NOTE: Many people has given me 1 star just because they can't find their device in the list. I will try my best to add those missing remote but please understand that I do not own all remote control in the world.
I've received many complaints that previous codes that were working are missing since version 2.0x. The main reason I remove those codes is to reduce file size. Due to many demand, I've decided to put those code back in version 2.11. Please note that I've merged some of the duplicated codes, therefore, some model name might note be same with your device but it may works.

3 ★Those who are planning to buy the PRO version, please be informed that an Internet connection is required for license validation each time the app starts. If you cannot be guaranteed an Internet connection at the place where you will be using this app, then DO NOT buy the PRO version because you will be wasting your money. I am leaving a 3/5 rating for now until this licensing hassle is resolved, after which I will give a 4/5 rating.
3 ★The pop up ads are getting really annoying. Everytime I watch a video or scrolling through Facebook, boom! A pop up ad appears, again again and AGAIN. I'm going to uninstall this app and hopefully I'll find a better one.

1 ★Aint no vcr i aint found no vcr compatible apps even in the ones that say i have the 1 vcr on the planet thats not supported a emerson four head rapid rewind i found 1 remote ages ago and it broke cant find another was at walmart
2 ★I rated this 5☆ before it got updated last week. After d update, the remote for a certain brand im using is no longer functioning. Sad.
1 ★Works until you upgrade to PRO. I upgraded to PRO version because the number of free trials for my AC remote ran out. Clicked the upgrade and purchase button and got deducted the corresponding amount. But I did not get the pro version delivered. I still have the trial version with the ad that keeps asking if I want to upgrade to the PRO version. I want a refund!
3 ★Need to add scanning/learning function to determine which remote to use. Too many to test. some remote only has power button. Goes back to unpaid version if you dont have internet.

2 ★It is not a complete solution for your device. I want to control my Panasonic AVER (MP3 player ) I found the key but in their only on and off option nothing else! Even though no volume control, Next and Previous options! Dont waste the time.
