SaniCoco: Aplicativo Móvel para uso na Cultura do CoqueiroA diagnose dos problemas fitossanitários é um dos desafios que o produtor encontra durante as diversas fases de cultivo do coqueiro. Visando facilitar o acesso às informações relacionadas a este tema a Embrapa Tabuleiros Costeiros desenvolveu um aplicativo móvel (app) para ser disponibilizado gratuitamente e utilizado no sistema de produção da cultura do coqueiro: o SaniCoco mobile.
Este aplicativo contém um conjunto de informações e um acervo de fotografias sobre as principais pragas e doenças da cultura do coqueiro. Ao perceber qualquer anormalidade na planta, o interessado poderá comparar o que está vendo com as fotos do aplicativo.
Dentre as informações constam o provável agente causal, uma breve descrição da sintomatologia, ocorrência, transmissão e métodos de controle disponíveis, além de links para publicações úteis que poderão ser consultadas para informações complementares.
A utilização do SaniCoco contribuirá para o uso racional de técnicas de manejo e de controle fitossanitário em coqueiro, promovendo maior sustentabilidade ambiental.
