As principais funcionalidades incluem o registro de coberturas, registro de diagnósticos de prenhez, registro de partos/nascimentos, registro de controle leiteiro, registro de encerramento de lactação, registro de pesagens, registro de movimentações e consulta a relatórios.
Para utilizar o GisleiteApp, é necessário cadastro prévio na plataforma web do Gisleite em http://gisleite.cnpgl.embrapa.br.
Além do cadastro pessoal, o usuário também deve registrar na plataforma web sua propriedade, rebanho e animais para fazer uso do aplicativo.
