Ele faz o diagnóstico da eficiência zootécnica da propriedade leiteira de forma rápida, simples e intuitiva. O usuário precisará de internet apenas para baixá-lo, pois todas as funcionalidades ficam disponíveis no modo off-line.Em apenas uma visita, no tempo necessário para o técnico avaliar todas as vacas do rebanho, já é possível obter o diagnóstico produtivo do rebanho. Além disso, a ferramenta atende às necessidades da maioria dos sistemas de produção de leite no Brasil.
O +Leite permite que qualquer rebanho, com o mínimo de registros (data de parto ou estágio de lactação e escore de condição corporal), possa ser avaliado e comparado com sua própria realidade ao longo do tempo, ou com outras propriedades. Para que isso fosse possível, os pesquisadores desenvolveram modelos matemáticos e índices produtivos que têm impacto na produtividade e podem avaliar o uso do potencial da propriedade.
