Description
FOREalert is an emergency communication platform that enables authorities (ex. law enforcement) to send an alert to users. Before sending the alert the administrator will choose a geo-fence and only the users who are inside this geofence would receive this alert. The administrator will be able to see the geolocation of the users after he has sent out the geo-fenced alert. Once the user receives an alert the user has the option to send a response back to the admin for the alert. This user response will not be visible to any of the other users in the geofence. The salient features of this app are as follows:1) FOREalert is ready to use upon download; no account creation or personal information is required for the users.
2) Only the administrator will be able to initiate an alert.
3) The user will be able to respond back to the alert
4) The user will never be able to communicate with other users
5) The user will be able to communicate with the admin only as a response to the alert sent by the admin. At no point can the user initiate communication with the admin or other users.
6) The administrator will be able to recall the alert. Once the alert has been recalled the users will not be able to reply back to this alert anymore.
9) This app is not intended and cannot be used as a distress call or 911 like services.
