Download MyCar Controls APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (app.com.automobility.mycar.control-v4.7.13-ApkClean.apk)

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

1 ★Company decided to perminently terminate my service without warning or notice. Do not buy and install garbage from MyCar controls or anything automobility inc distributes, unless you want to waste your money and time. MyCar can and will terminate your service without any notice or warning making your device obselete. They told me the solution to this is for me to buy and install another one of their products. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
1 ★App will rarely show if my car started or not.
1 ★One of the worst products I have purchased. Really wish I had just gone with a regular car starter. Nothing but problems with this app. Works as it should maybe 50% of the time. Reached out to support multiple times and nothing changes.
1 ★Garbage do not buy still won't allow us to use and no one at customer service to talk to. Bought as a plug and play and was not, had to splice wire what a joke!!!
1 ★Living in a northern climate, I really should have done more research prior to spending an ungodly amount of money on this starter. It hasn't registered my vehicle in over a week, the app completely grayed out, and my ticket to support has gone unanswered. Would not recommend.

1 ★I don't see the point of having this app if the server is most of the time down. Even being 10 feet from the vehicle, there is no connection.
1 ★I wish I looked into this company prior to purchasing it for my vehicle. I've had nothing but problems with this app. 90% of the time it won't connect to vehicle, app greyed out, says the vehicle started but didn't, 40 second delay if the commands finally do go through or the app autoclosing so you can't even attempt to use it. Just stay away from this app everyone, absolutely terrible!
2 ★The app technically works, but as soon as it's cold outside it doesn't start, which is exactly when I want it to work. If I walk to my truck and turn the key, the truck will start with no issue, but it feels like the starter doesn't try long enough to start.
1 ★Worst app/service I have paid for in my life. This connects to my car one 5 % of the time. Dealership can't help, this thing is useless and close to fraud. Reply to Automobility Reply : I already sent an e-mail with detailled procedure taken and sreenshots on Tue, Dec 5, 2023. You guys never responded and had to deal back with my Dealership who could not help nor offer any form of reimbursement. No service from dealership nor from your provided e-mail address.
