QUICK AND EASY
Food Button is designed to streamline the food finding process as much as possible. Hitting the giant red button makes the app grab your current location and find an awesome restaurant nearby in seconds. Click the "Start Heading Here" button on any restaurant page to immediately start navigating there in Google Maps. Everything you want to do is just one click away!
FILTER
Want to customize your search experience? No problem. Despite its simple design, Food Button also has powerful filter options. You can filter your search by free-form input or categories and sort them by relevance, distance, or rating. You can also restrict results to be within a certain radius of you, customize the search location, and only show restaurants with deals.
FAVORITES
If you find a restaurant you like, simply hit the star in the toolbar to save it to your favorites, which will allow you to view that restaurant's information at all times, even when you're offline. Swipe left on any favorite to quickly share its information or unfavorite it. If you have a lot of favorites and need to sort through them, you can filter them by both category and location.
DECISION MAKING
I originally built this app, because my friends and I would often times have trouble deciding on a place to eat. That's why I've included the ability to choose a restaurant randomly wherever possible. You can have the search results be returned to you in a random order from the filter and jump to a random restaurant from both the search results page and your favorites page.
SLEEK UI
This app adheres to Google's Material Design standards, and I even backported all of the app's material elements so the app looks silky smooth no matter how old your Android device is.
