How to install Brighton & Hove Buses APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Brighton & Hove Buses APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

5 ★Had zero issues signing up with a new account. Fairly easy to navigate. Really appreciate the fact you can favourite routes as well as stops, cuts out a lot of the faff of checking every morning. Aesthetics-wise it's very nice, the dark mode in particular saves a lot of screen glare in the mornings. Having service updates in app rather than linking to Twitter is great. All in all, an improvement on its predecessor.
2 ★Currently, signing in using the same details as the previous app doesn't work at all. Using 'forgot password' doesn't send an email to actually do this (not that I need to, as the details work fine on the old app) , and the old app isn't showing tickets so no purchase can be made, even after reinstalling. Both apps just don't work at the moment!
2 ★Easy to navigate but when trying to buy the first ticket, it did not recognise the password. Aimed to reset, but the email apparently sent (several times!) in order to reset passwords, never arrives. (Kept checking spam as well, just in case). Given that purchasing a ticket on the bus is even more expensive, I decided against using public transport in Brighton...
5 ★Fantastic seems to be confusion over the old still being download able. This one does the job. Would be great if this would work with NFC. As the machines can sometimes take your card details rather that use the camera on the bar code. It's a pain asking the driver for a refund. I have also been charged before when trying to just use the barcode on the machine.
5 ★Very helpful and fairly easy to use. I like being abke to plan my route by looking on the map, selecting a bus stop and seeing what number bus goes there. Service updates are helpful too, and it's great to have a live tracker with estimated times of arrival. Also love that the day rider lasts for 24 hours rather than just the calendar day. So much better value! 5 stars.
5 ★Bus times and tickets, does what you need it to and does it well
1 ★As useless as the previous app Do the people that design this app ever even use a bus? Travel by public transport? The previous app won't let me buy tickets (it's not even June yet). Tried to buy with the new one. Must sign in. Can't remember my password. Send reset link. Doesn't get sent. Great. Why the need to sign in? Just accept payment and send the ticket. Or accept a link to a Google account. Put your customer first, not your own wish list.
5 ★This app is great! I love that I can purchase an e ticket ahead of travelling, activate it when I need to, and it's cheaper than purchasing from the bus driver and more convenient! I also think being able to see where your bus is in real time is such a great bonus. Brighton and Hove buses are usually on time and have always been clean when I have used them. Fantastic service and app 👌
2 ★Whatever the reasons the app isn't reliable and accurate enough.
1 ★Second time you've changed apps in the last couple of years, the last one was ok for buying tickets but useless for planning journeys and seeing live times. Now the old one is stuck on a spinning loading wheel and the new one has 'sent me an email to reset my password' but nothing has arrived despite trying 3 times since yesterday. Why didn't you just update the old app? Opposite of user friendly and now have 2 useless apps on my phone, unable to buy tickets 😠
1 ★Can't forgot password for my old account. Email never arrived. Surprisingly, I was able to sign up (register) with that same email address! Also, when I'm on the buy ticket menu, and if I close the app (go to my phone home menu) and go back to the app again, it moves back to the app home menu, not the buy ticket menu!
5 ★I am a Brightonian and can not give anything less than 99% as all of your drivers are very polite and friendly . There are 2 who are miserable and do not even acknowledge you. 12 bus route is excellent when no diverts as when friston was closed I had no other way of getting to beachy head and spent a fortune on taxis. Keep up the good service. Oh would add the GPS app gets it wrong quite often.
