ICT-AAC Komunikator osobama sa složenim komunikacijskim potrebama omogućuje lakšu komunikaciju s okolinom. Sadrži osnovni skup simbola koji svaki korisnik može nadograditi vlastitim fotografijama ili simbolima. Pritiskom na određeni simbol izvodi se pridruženi zvučni zapis, tipično naziv onoga što je na slici (simbolu) prikazano. Postavke je moguće prilagoditi korisnicima, u smislu da je moguće prikazati više ili manje simbola na ekranu, odabrati neku od javno dostupnih galerija simbola, mijenjati boje teksta, okvira i pozadine i drugo.VAŽNO:
Novi Komunikator (plava ikona) izdaje se kao nova aplikacija što znači da korisničke simbole iz starog Komunikatora (narančasta ikona) nije moguće prebaciti u novi Komunikator.
Korisnici starog Komunikatora mogu istodobno koristiti obje aplikacije (stari i novi Komunikator) na svom uređaju.
