1 ★Totally useless. I have to be an airmiles member to display the coupons and the flier wont even load. im better off just navigating to Metro's website. Fix this mess. Also, apparently Metro customer service doesnt care, because people have been complaining about these problems for literally months. I personally cant wait for the canned response to this review.
3 ★Okay but cant access my rewards...I've had the app installed and linked to my metro points for a while but I can't access my rewards to use them. It keeps saying "a 7-day delay after obtaining your card is necessary to subscribe to rewards" so I guess I'm waiting and hoping I'll get s cheque in the mail? My app is updated and I use it on my Samsung S7. Otherwise can load and use coupons so works okay I guess? And yes I reinstalled app and it is updated, still not working for rewards!!
2 ★Kind of dissappointed. This is the second time my offer gets unloaded by accident in my pocket or somehow else. Why do you have unload coupon? It doesn't make sense. Other retailer apps like sobeys and pc optimum don't do that. The load all your offers as soon as you go to the page, why someone would ever unload the offer. Yesterday I lost 80 miles or $8 equivalent just because this useless unload functionality
1 ★The app will not allow me to add my credit card and recommends I check my expiry or contact customer service. My card is valid and one of the types they accept. I called customer service, who told me there was nothing they could do to add my card but that I could speak to my bank. Bank explained that no request for authorization was ever sent to them to approve and so, problem is Metro. They confirmed I was entering my card and address exactly the way they have it on file. No groceries for me.
1 ★This app is very terrible! You learn the delivery date only at the checkout. If the date is too far away and you want to change to pick up in store, there is no way. There is no way to cancel your purchase. Even if you delete the items from the cart one by one and restart, there is no pickup in store option. When you start a new purchase, the delivery option will be in place. Whoever made this app doesn't know about the real world.
3 ★the application is fun a useful, however, i am not able to see the flyer ....i click on which flyer i wish tu visualise and its just goes blank....:( Have uninstall ed and reinstalled to no avail.. :( ( reading the other comment it seems that it is a reoccurri g issue.. are you trying to fix and solve the issu?? thanks.
1 ★Why would my local store advertise online ordering if neither in-store pickup nor delivery are available for my area? I went through the whole sign-up process only to find out it's unavailable. This is just poor planning on Metro's part. I'm disappointed. Metro was my grocery store of choice for many years but since the pandemic started I've exclusively been using Fortino's as they offer online shopping and pickup. I live in a major city - it's not like I'm out in the boonies.
1 ★This app hasn't worked properly since it was redone to look pretty. Can't sign in, list view of flyers has disappeared, can't sync lists between website and app, barcode scanner is gone, etc. I'll take ugly and functional over pretty and useless any day. Please make it work again
1 ★It has good features for making shopping lists, adding/using coupons and air miles promotions, but everytime I view the flyer it popups an allow notification message that takes you out of the app even if you choose no, then when you go back to the the app to view flyer, it starts all over again. Unusable. Use flipp app if you need to look at the flyer.
1 ★First, let me be clear that I LOVE this particular Metro Grocery Store! (The Island Park Metro in Ottawa) BUT This store DOES NOT have a delivery service, which for me means that I have to shop elsewhere that DOES have a delivery service as I have a few disabilities.... It is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT because as I said, I LOVE this grocery store! So it is with great dismay that I have to rate it with one star....
1 ★I deleted my review in error - but it doesn't matter anyways, I shop at Sobeys now. I had contacted metro several times, uninstalled & re-installed your app twice - it worked for years now suddenly - nothing works. You responded to me in French here (?) & although I understood your directions - I am not contacting you by e-mail as requested as my previous 4 attempts were a fail. My last contact the guy just said sorry, we are having problems. D'oh! Smacks head...
1 ★The search function in the list section of this app is probably the worst ever produced! Can't find most basic items... And not it's not a question of re-installing it. It's the search engine behind or the data that is (not) in it... Look like it has been programmed by "Sunday developers"!
