1 ★This app just continues to disappoint! I've used app for years and now it keeps asking me to sign in. Won't accept my password. Tried at least 5 times to reset it. And YES, it met all criteria!! Tried the help desk too.. I might add.. you call that a help desk? Seriously. There is no way to even contact anyone for help. Just a ridiculous list of faq. Finally after contact no one got back to me. Surprised? Finally got my acct back. Still shows items hundreds of miles away yet my location is set!!
1 ★Horrible user experience. Keeps crashing. If I switch out a browser to look something up and then go back to the app it well not remember the last search so I'll need to give it all over again. Lots of other things wrong with it. Really discourage using the app.
2 ★Ever since the most recent update things have gone crazy. I no longer have ads in my area or my choice of area I want to see ads in. Either Calgary or Toronto, not brantford. Tried to adjust the map parameters and despite setting up this, it does nothing. Everything went well overall for yrs and this time the update ruined things. What the heck guys.
1 ★-100⭐!!!! Used to be tolerable, but recently turned into UTTER TRASH!!!! Stopped using the app for a little bit, like a week or 2, then suddenly NOTHING works!!!! Can't even login, all my saves are gone. No, I will absolutely NOT update to new ver. because it is reported by countless people to be even worst than old ver. by far!!!! May just have to stop using kijiji completely and find another platform. I have relatives that have been urging me to do just that for years anyway.
1 ★ADS, gets frustrating when the page loads and I go to press on something and the the AD pops up just as I'm pressing and it shifts what I wanted to press and end up pressing something else. Plus when pressing the back button it deletes what I'm trying to look for. Sponsors galore, looking for iPhone and get Samsung? Cluttered and disorganized. Frustrating to use. Poor search engine. Takes 30min to get chats Marketplace is so much easier to use. Terrible and glitchy. Getting worse and worse.
3 ★The new version is terribly bad. You can't slide pics, it gets frozen. It doesn't show how long is the person on Kijiji for all users, which also I think is very importent. The old version was much better in sense of performance and more user friendly. I don't like the new app. Thanks.
1 ★Please update the android version. It doesn't load 3/4 of the time and messages don't come through even with push notifications. Content doesn't load unless you refresh 3 or 4 times. Its been 6 months. The app has only gotten worse. UPDATE/FIX THE APP!!!!!! KEEPS CRASHING AND KILLING MY BATTERY
1 ★As I was leaving this review the app crashed because it couldn't handle a search with 715 listings. I have a Google pixel 4a. Please fix this. It can't be hard to make a properly optimized app in 2023 when you can run high resolution 3d games on $300 phones.
1 ★I have never had issues and for the last year I have personal posts that have no photis. I contacted kijjiji with tbe issue and was told the issue was on my side. Well I'm sorry but itisn't. I never had issues before and I am fed up with consantly having to re-load just for them to disappear again. It's been at least a year with the same issue. Please fix it! It isn't all my posts and it isn't my service provider so stop using that excuse!
1 ★I hadn't used it in a while and decided to post some items for sale. Too many ads and responses trying to scam me. Even if I added my local area, I was getting responses from other locations, including across the country and outside Canada. What a waste of time.
1 ★The new Kijiji Canada Android app update, as of December 25, 2023, is Very Bad and Buggy! - In conclusion, the Kijiji Canada app is now only a Peace of Shii!!! - My saved "Favorite Searches" show only irrelevant items and ads! - Since February 2023, every update of the Kijiji Canada app only getting worse and more messy than its previous version! - Please change and return back the Kijiji app to the previous version that was before the February 24, 2023, update!
1 ★This app is now terrible. There are so many adds and the filters are absolute garbage. Impossible to filter for used items. I'm trying to find some used tires. I need to scroll down so many adds and completely unrelated items before I can (if I'm lucky) find to some used tires. They are not even the size I'm looking. Truly sad.
