The SwitzerlandMobility app offers access to the 1,500 most enticing routes in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. In summer, the range includes hiking, cycling, mountain biking, skating and canoeing. In winter, you will find a wide selection of winter hiking trails, snowshoe routes, cross-country ski trails and toboggan runs. The route network is available to you in the highest map quality with national maps from swisstopo, up to a scale of 1:10,000.
Simple planning of tours
You will find thorough descriptions and detailed photo reports for each route. This gives you a good idea of what to expect at the site. The public transport stops, including the next departure times with a direct link to the SBB app as well as a wealth of additional information on accommodation options, sights, stopover locations, bike rental and bike service stations make it easy to prepare your trip.

New: Share tours using the appThis update enables you to use SwitzerlandMobility Plus to share tours and tracks that you have mapped out or recorded yourself directly from the app as a link or to save them as a GPX export. You can also import GPX files directly into the app and save them in your personal tour list. Previously, these functionalities were only available on the SwitzerlandMobility website. Try it out now.

2 ★I love the app, especially now that I can draw paths! I have one issue, though: it would be great if I could change the language from the system default. Edit: I realized that saved routes do not contain any of my manually created waypoints. So if I ever want to go back and edit a route, it does not stick to my previous waypoints but instead tries to calculate the shortest path from the start to the current editing location. This makes it impossible to make little changes.
5 ★Great for ourdoor tours. Most reliable and detailed maps. List of hikes, tours etc. could be more complete. Paid version allows you to design own tours and offline maps - worth the extra costs.
1 ★For people who like to pay free information, this is the best app. For those with a brain, just use swisstopo
1 ★Poor app. Rapidly drains the battery and keeps crashing. Needs a radical redesign.
3 ★Good overall, but.. You can't download or export ot whatever you want to call it a route you just drew.. I can't think of a situation where I would pull my phone out to follow a tour. Everyone around me uses a Garmin or other device for that. Please just let us save what we just planned. Thanks for your answer. If I have to log in to the website I can forego the app completely.. I can plan and export on the Topo app, why not with this? Several months later, free topo app is still better..
3 ★Great App for planning hikes and other outdoor activities. But it's horribly optimised - phone gets really hot and you can watch the battery going down while using it, which is especially a problem on longer hikes
4 ★Sehr happy mit der App. Nutze Sie schon lange und sehr regelmässig für meine Touren. Dass man Touren jetzt endlich auch direkt in der App erstellen kann ist sehr angenehm. Mir fehlt aber noch der Import für gpx Tracks.
1 ★Update 5.0 is a big disappointment. All useful features are gone.
3 ★Essentially, I love this app. I use it every weekend to cycle somewhere new. Latest version seems to have stopped it crashing randomly, but now downloading offline maps is broken. Trying to download 20mb map on WiFi with fast broadband and it's done only 5% in 45 minutes.
4 ★Great database of Swiss hikes. The UI is lacking some basic functions, it's hard to onow where to click to find saved maps or where to discover new routes.
